There are not six verified, current Wallpaper Engine downloads that can honestly be recommended for this article. Workshop availability changes, and five prominent historical Among Us listings showed Steam’s removed or incompatible notice when checked on August 10, 2026. Rather than send you to dead subscriptions, this guide shows the one current lead worth checking, the correct setup path for each platform, and how to build an Among Us-themed live wallpaper of your own.

Community Workshop uploads can be withdrawn, restricted, or made incompatible. Open the item’s Steam page immediately before subscribing and look for its current compatibility status. Also confirm that its creator permits mobile transfer if Android is your goal. Old subscriber counts and old roundup articles are not proof that an item is still available.

The only researched lead that did not display a removal or incompatibility notice at the time checked was Among Us fanart wallpaper by witolszewski. Its creator describes it as an original, seamless 4K (3840×2160), 30 fps video loop. Treat that as a creator description, not an editorial performance test, and confirm the page is still compatible before you subscribe. It is fan-made; it should not be presented as official or licensed Among Us content.

Descriptions such as “4K,” “interactive,” “customizable,” and “audio-responsive” come from creators or the platform. They do not establish that a wallpaper has the best animation, low CPU use, or good battery life on your hardware.

Create an Among Us-themed live wallpaper on Windows
Wallpaper Engine is the strongest supported route if you want a moving desktop scene and control over the source material. Its editor can animate images and import video, HTML, websites, and applications.
- Start with material you can use. Make your own illustration, animation, or video, or obtain permission for every asset. If you use Among Us-inspired imagery, label the result as fan work. Do not claim that it is official, licensed, or approved by Innersloth.
- Create a project. In Wallpaper Engine on Windows, open the editor and create a new project. Animate your own layers, or import a permitted video or other supported source.
- Build for the target screen. Choose the intended aspect ratio before committing to the composition. A 16:9 desktop scene may crop poorly on an ultrawide monitor or a portrait phone.
- Preview and tune it. Test the wallpaper on the display where it will run and adjust effects or project settings as needed. Performance depends on the project and the target PC, so test rather than assuming a result.
- Use gameplay-friendly settings. Wallpaper Engine includes an option to pause wallpapers while games are being played. Enable it if you prefer to reserve system resources while gaming; it is a setting, not a promise of zero resource use.
- Share only when you have the rights. Keep the project private unless you have sufficient rights for every included asset. Workshop contributors are responsible for their uploads, and fan work must not distribute direct copies of protected material or imply official authorization.
Send a compatible Wallpaper Engine project to Android
Android support is a transfer workflow from the Windows application, not direct Workshop browsing on the phone.
- Install the official Wallpaper Engine Android companion app and update both the PC and Android apps.
- On the Windows app, choose Mobile, then Connect new Device. Wallpaper Engine displays a four-digit pairing PIN.
- On Android, open Wallpaper Engine and choose Add, then Pair with Computer. Select your computer on the local network and enter the PIN.
- Send a compatible wallpaper from Windows to the paired phone. For scene wallpapers, Wallpaper Engine may optimize the project for mobile and offer a quality choice.
- Apply it in the Android app. Whether it can be used on the Lock Screen, Home Screen, or both depends on the phone manufacturer and launcher.
If pairing fails
Export the wallpaper as an .mpkg package from Wallpaper Engine on Windows, move that package to the phone, then import it through the Android app. If Android cannot locate the file, place the package in the phone’s Downloads folder and try the import again.

Android limitations to expect
- The Wallpaper Engine Android app plays wallpapers silently; wallpaper audio does not transfer as playback audio.
- Some Workshop items cannot be transferred because of mobile compatibility or creator-consent restrictions.
- Lock-screen live wallpaper behavior varies by device maker and launcher.
Set an Among Us Live Photo on iPhone
On an iPhone running iOS 17 or later, use an existing Live Photo:
- Open Settings > Wallpaper > Add New Wallpaper.
- Choose Photos, then Live Photo.
- Select the Live Photo and make sure the playback control is enabled if you want it to animate when the Lock Screen wakes.
- Tap Add, then choose a wallpaper pair or customize the Home Screen separately.
This iPhone method uses an existing Live Photo and plays on wake. It does not establish a native Apple workflow for converting any downloaded video into a Live Photo, and it should not be described as a continuous video wallpaper.
Copyright and sharing: keep fan work clearly fan-made
Personal, non-commercial fan work can be possible within Innersloth’s fan-content rules, but the boundaries matter. Do not present a project as official or licensed, do not distribute direct copies of the game’s assets, and do not upload material you do not have permission to use. The safest creation path is original artwork and animation inspired by the game’s crewmate-and-space aesthetic rather than extracted game files.

- An old Workshop link is dead: Steam may remove or restrict Workshop contributions and does not guarantee continuing access. Find a currently compatible alternative or create your own.
- The phone cannot see my PC: Make sure both devices are current and on the same local network, then retry the pairing PIN. Use the
.mpkgexport/import fallback if needed. - The Android wallpaper has no sound: That is expected; Wallpaper Engine for Android makes wallpapers silent.
- I only want it on the Android Lock Screen: Check your specific phone and launcher. Support is not consistent across Android devices.
