The Anbernic RG 477M is already listed for sale on ANBERNIC’s official storefront, so an “imminent release” is no longer the right framing. The observed US-dollar listing showed a $264.99 sale price, while ANBERNIC’s Spanish storefront marked the handheld sold out. Price and stock depend on the regional store and can change; check your local listing before ordering.
Is the Anbernic RG 477M available, and when is it coming out?
ANBERNIC now has an official product listing for the RG 477M. That answers the release question more usefully than the earlier rumor: the device is listed for purchase, but the available stock is not uniform across the regional pages checked. The Spanish storefront showed it as sold out, which does not establish stock status in other markets. Check the official store serving your location for current availability, shipping terms and configuration options.
The earlier Notebookcheck report described a $239 price for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage version, attributing it to Joey’s Retro Handhelds. That was a historical price rumor, not the current official storefront price.
How much does the RG 477M cost?
The observed ANBERNIC regional storefront displayed a $264.99 sale price and selectable memory, color and SD-card variants. This is a page snapshot, not a confirmed manufacturer’s suggested retail price or a price that applies worldwide. The store may change its price, stock or available options, so confirm the total for your region and chosen configuration at checkout.

What should you check before buying?
- Open the official storefront for your region and verify whether the RG 477M is in stock.
- Confirm the selected RAM and storage configuration; the technical page’s 12GB/256GB specification is not the only storefront option.
- Check the final price, shipping origin and delivery terms for your address rather than relying on a price observed in another regional store.
- Treat battery life, refresh rate and format support as ANBERNIC specifications or claims, not as independent performance or compatibility test results.
For comparisons with other handhelds, assess the local price and availability alongside configuration, display, operating system, controls, weight, battery claims and video output. The available specifications alone do not establish that the RG 477M is faster, better value or more compatible than another device.
