Ancient Dragon Florissax is the Dragon Communion Priestess’s Spirit Ash identity in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. To obtain it, give the Priestess Thiollier’s Concoction at night, defeat Bayle, then return and confess. This choice also affects other rewards: the Concoction route grants Dragonbolt of Florissax and the Spirit Ash, while skipping it leaves the Priestess Heart and Flowerstone Gavel at the altar. Choose your reward route before defeating Bayle
The quest has two mutually exclusive outcomes in the walkthrough: the Concoction route leads to the Spirit Ash and Dragonbolt of Florissax; defeating Bayle without giving the Concoction leaves the Priestess Heart and Flowerstone Gavel. The guide also warns that giving the Concoction prevents you from receiving further Ancient Dragon Blessings. Decide which set of rewards matters more to your character before progressing.

Find the Dragon Communion Priestess
The Priestess is at the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion in Jagged Peak. The walkthrough’s route reaches the altar through Dragon’s Pit: complete the dungeon, deal with the Ancient Dragon-Man encounter, and leave toward the altar. For the Spirit Ash route, reach her before defeating Bayle so you can give her the Concoction at night.

Get Thiollier’s Concoction and give it to the Priestess
- Speak with Thiollier at Pillar Path Cross.
- After speaking with Thiollier, speak with Moore at Main Gate Cross to receive Black Syrup.
- Give the Black Syrup to Thiollier to obtain Thiollier’s Concoction.
- Visit the Priestess at the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion at night and give her the Concoction. The walkthrough says it puts her into a deep sleep rather than killing her.
- Allow her to wake, then defeat Bayle.
- Return to the altar. The guide says to speak with the Priestess again and confess to receive the Spirit Ash; the Concoction route also yields Dragonbolt of Florissax.
If the quest does not advance immediately after she wakes, the walkthrough advises waiting another day and speaking with her again. The NPC locations, sequence, and recovery advice are from the Gamer Guides quest walkthrough.
What the Florissax Spirit Ash does
The database lists the Spirit Ash as DLC-exclusive and gives its summon cost as 85 FP. Its reproduced item description says Florissax uses her dragonbolt to increase all damage negation, including physical, for herself and nearby allies. She also strikes enemies with the Flowerstone Gavel’s dragonbolt to reduce their lightning damage negation. Those effects may suit a build that benefits from nearby-ally defense and can take advantage of reduced enemy resistance to lightning; this is a description of the listed effect, not a comparative performance ranking.
