Angelian Trigger is planned to launch on PC via Steam on December 10, 2026, with a PlayStation 5 release planned for 2027, according to publisher PiXEL. The game is already available on Nintendo Switch in Japan. Steam currently lists the PC version as “Coming soon” and shows Japanese as its only supported language.
When does Angelian Trigger come out on PC and PS5?
PiXEL announced that the Steam version is scheduled for December 10, 2026, and the PlayStation 5 version is planned for 2027. The PS5 announcement has no more specific date. PiXEL’s October 5, 2026 announcement was also reported by Gematsu.
Steam’s store page still says “Coming soon” and does not display a calendar release date. The December 10 date comes from PiXEL’s announcement, not the current Steam listing. No PC or PS5 price, regional release details, or physical edition has been confirmed in the sources available.
Does Angelian Trigger support English on Steam?
As of October 7, 2026, Steam lists Japanese for the interface, full audio, and subtitles; English is marked unsupported. Gematsu reported that English had appeared on the listing previously but was no longer present by October 5. Store language metadata can change, so check the Steam page again before buying.

What kind of game is Angelian Trigger?
PiXEL describes it as a pseudo-3D shooter: players move toward the depth of the screen while shooting enemies and fighting stage bosses. The store description lists story and arcade modes with 24 stages across them, plus a music mode featuring a separate boss. These are publisher descriptions rather than independently tested findings.
Two playable detectives
- Mia fights with dual pistols and can double jump.
- Sheryl carries a large cannon and can float.
The store description also names support robot O-P2, rear covering fire, force fields, homing lasers that can lock onto multiple enemies, and bonus points for defeating groups. Its synopsis follows detectives Mia and Sheryl, who investigate an anonymous request on the green planet Sarius and become embroiled in a conspiracy connected to Wati, a city on Galadseek.

Is Angelian Trigger already available on Nintendo Switch?
Yes. PiXEL lists the Nintendo Switch version as released in Japan on December 12, 2024. The publisher documents both a downloadable edition and packaged standard and limited editions. Its product page specifies Japanese language, one player, and a CERO B rating.
PiXEL’s page lists historical prices of ¥4,950 for the standard package and ¥8,800 for the limited edition; these are not verified current prices. The limited package is described as including the game, art book, special box, original pin badge, 3D glasses, and Eames certificate. Current retailer stock and availability are not established.

For the earliest confirmed way to play, the Japanese Switch edition is already out. If you are waiting for PC, use December 10, 2026 as PiXEL’s announced date while recognizing Steam has not yet put that date on its store page. The PS5 version is planned for 2027, with its exact timing and language support still unstated.
