Import is conditional. The reviewed sources do not establish a universal platform, region, server, or version matrix, and they do not prove that every code works everywhere. A code can be stale, unreadable, tied to a different client context, or unsupported by the controls you are using.
What is and is not officially documented
AniimoDex says the official material it reviewed did not document a transferable-code file path, a complete import process, or a supported-platform matrix. How to create a character manually
The following sequence follows the categories and editing practices described by independent Aniimo customization guides. Names and placement can change between client updates, so use the nearest equivalent control if your screen differs.
- Open character customization. Enter the character-creation or appearance editor from the game menu. If you are changing an existing character rather than creating one, note the confirmation screen before committing any alteration.
- Choose a starting preset. Select the preset whose proportions or overall style are closest to your target. Starting near the desired result reduces the number of small corrections you need to make later.
- Set the face and face shape. Work through the face controls first, then the broader shape controls. Make large proportion changes before fine details so that later adjustments are not invalidated by a different base shape.
- Apply makeup or facial details. Add the makeup and detail options that fit the design. Check the preview at normal viewing distance as well as close up; a detail that looks subtle in the editor can read strongly during play.
- Select hair, outfit, and accessories. The AniimoList guide groups these as separate appearance areas. Finish the face before styling the rest so clothing, hair, or accessories do not distract you from facial proportions while you work.
- Use Face Blend when a preset is close but not right. A separate guide explains Face Blend as a way to combine preset facial features before refining the result manually. - Review the complete preview. Rotate or otherwise inspect the character in the views the client provides. Look for asymmetry, hair clipping, makeup that disappears under lighting, and accessories that obscure the face.
- Read the final confirmation and save only when satisfied. If the editor displays a cost, token requirement, or other condition, treat that live message as authoritative. Do not rely on a price quoted by an older guide.
Why manual editing is worth the extra time
- You can change one feature without inheriting another player’s choices.
- You can keep refining details after a preset or Face Blend operation.
- You are not dependent on a code remaining readable or supported.
- You can reproduce the design yourself if a shared image disappears.
How to use a Face Code or QR import
The route below is reported by independent guides, including Aniimo Help and AniimoDex; it has not been verified as a single official workflow for every current client. If a menu item is absent, do not assume the feature is enabled in your version.
- Open the customization editor. Enter the same character or appearance area used for manual editing.
- Find the import command. Look for a control labelled Import Face Data, or a closely related Face Data, Face ID, or QR option. The exact wording and location may differ.
- Choose the route offered by the client. Select Face ID/code and enter the shared code if that option is present, or choose the QR route and provide the image through the interface the client displays. Do not paste a code into an unrelated name, outfit, or text field.
- Wait for the design to load. A successful read should produce a character preview or imported appearance data. If nothing changes, check for transcription errors, image quality, and whether the code belongs to the same game context.
- Compare the preview with the creator’s example. Confirm that face shape, makeup, hair, outfit, and accessories are present as expected. A code may represent only the data that the creator saved, not every cosmetic item shown in a screenshot.
- Edit only if the client permits it. Treat the imported design as a starting point when manual controls remain available. If controls are locked or the client presents the result as a complete change, do not assume you can recover individual settings later.
- Read the confirmation screen. Check the current cost, currency, or other requirement shown immediately before saving. Independent guidance specifically recommends previewing the result and checking this message.
- Save or cancel. Apply the design only after the preview and confirmation match what you intend. If the result is wrong, cancel rather than saving and attempting to reconstruct the previous look from memory.
Where to find community designs safely
Players commonly share codes alongside screenshots or requests for a look they saw in-game. AniimoShare is an independent fan directory that presents player-submitted designs, previews, and copyable codes. Its own description makes clear that submissions are community content, not official game material.

Prefer a listing that includes a clear creator preview, a legible code, and enough context to identify the intended appearance. Save the preview image before importing so you have a reference if the code later expires or the listing changes. Never treat a community listing as a guarantee of compatibility, ownership, or continued availability.
Reddit discussions can help you discover names or styles, but they are anecdotal. For example, a participant in an Aniimo face-code thread mentions a server-related limitation. One player’s report cannot establish a universal server rule, so test the code in the client and account context where you plan to use it.

Why there is no dependable fixed price

What can make an import fail

- The code loads, but some cosmetics are unavailable in your current context, producing a preview that differs from the creator’s image.
How to handle updates
After a game update, reopen the editor and check whether the import command and preview still behave as described. The import option is missing
- Confirm that you are in the character or appearance editor, not a general profile or outfit-only screen.
- Check every submenu for Face Data, Face ID, QR, or Import wording.

- If no import control exists, use manual editing; the absence of a documented button is not something a code can bypass.
The code or QR image is rejected
- Re-enter the code from the original listing instead of a screenshot transcription.

- Try a second community design to distinguish a bad code from a disabled import route.
- Ask the creator for a fresh code when the listing is old or the preview no longer matches.
The preview does not match
- Check whether the creator’s screenshot includes hair, makeup, outfit, and accessories that are separate from face data.
- Inspect the imported face at the same viewing angle and lighting as the preview.
- Use the manual controls to correct differences only if the client leaves them enabled.
- Cancel rather than save if the result or confirmation is not what you expected.
The result saved but cannot be reproduced
Keep the creator preview and your own final screenshot. A code is a convenient transfer method, not a substitute for a visual record, and the reviewed sources do not promise permanent storage or cross-context portability.

Choose manual editing when…
- You have a specific personal design rather than a reference character.
- You care about changing individual facial features without inheriting someone else’s settings.
- You expect to revise the character after the initial creation.
