Keep every Mythic and Legendary material in Anime Zero. Keep Common and Epic materials whenever they are required by an accessory you plan to craft. Rarity is a useful farming priority, not an automatic delete rule: a low-tier component can be more valuable to you than a high-tier drop with no recipe you can use. Check Yugi the Forger’s current stock before spending hours on a bottleneck; his material shop reportedly refreshes every 24 hours.
What material rarity means in Anime Zero
The current material catalogue contains 25 crafting materials split into four tiers: Common, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic. These materials are used at the Crafting Station to make accessories, and accessories can add damage, critical rate, cooldown reduction, or other stat bonuses. The tier tells you how scarce or difficult a material generally is, but it does not tell you whether the item is useful for your next build.

The catalogue is separate from weapon rarity. An unofficial Anime Zero fan site describes a weapon ladder of Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Arcane, and Lyth. Do not use that five-tier weapon scale to judge crafting materials: material rarity has four tiers, while weapons have five.
Item names, recipes, shop inventory, and drop rates can change with patches. The percentages below are the rates reported in the October 14, 2026 material guide, not a promise that every future version will use the same table. Recheck the in-game recipe and stage information after an update.

The keep-first rule
- Lock every Mythic material. These are the highest material tier in the cited catalogue. Several come from Nightmare content or low-rate raid drops, so replacing one can take substantially longer than replacing a Common component.
- Lock every Legendary material. Legendary drops include Hard and Nightmare story rewards and raid materials that can become bottlenecks for stronger accessories.
- Keep lower tiers when a recipe needs them. Fine Cloth, Shinobi Scroll, Gems, and other Common or Epic items may be mandatory components. Do not discard them simply because their color or tier is lower.
- Farm the source tied to the missing item. A material is not automatically available in every mode. Use the relevant story act, Trials, endless waves, raid, or Spirit’s Bathtub activity.
- Use Yugi’s shop for a bottleneck when the price and refresh make sense. Stock is limited and the reported refresh interval is 24 hours, so the shop is a supplement rather than an unlimited replacement for farming.
A practical rule is to compare three things before deleting anything: the material’s tier, how hard its source is for your account, and whether a planned accessory currently lists it. A Common item needed for tonight’s craft should stay; an unneeded Mythic item should also stay because its future replacement cost is uncertain.
All 25 materials and where they come from
The following list uses the four-tier material classification reported in 2026. “Drop chance” is shown only where the guide supplied an exact percentage; missing rates are not established here.

Which drops are hardest to replace?
Monarch’s Blessing deserves special attention because the cited Shadow Gate Raid rate is 6.5%, the lowest exact percentage in the catalogue. Staff of Homa is listed at 25% from Spirit’s Bathtub, Ghost at 33%, Igris Crest at 40%, and Shadow’s Cloak at 47%. Among the Common and Epic raid examples, Zero Calories Flour is listed at 80%, Shadow Essence at 53%, and Zero Calories Doughnuts at 47%.

Where to farm a specific material
HxH story acts
HxH Story Acts 1–3 cover several tiers. Act 1 supplies Shinobi Scroll and Fine Cloth at Common rarity, Eyeball at Epic, and Soul Fragment at Legendary. Cursed Finger is tied to Act 1 on Hard and Nightmare, while Magic Pendant requires Act 1 on Nightmare.
Act 2 supplies Broken Blade, plus Tech Component on Hard and Nightmare and SunCore on Nightmare. Act 3 supplies Mana Feather, plus Waves Core on Hard and Nightmare and Forbidden Fruit on Nightmare. If the recipe screen names one of these items, select the act and difficulty that actually lists it rather than repeatedly clearing a different stage for general loot.
Trials
Trials are the reported source for Caprese, Ham, Omurice, and Burger. They span Common, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic materials, so a Trial run can be worthwhile when an accessory needs one of these exact components. No complete Trial percentage table is established, so inspect the current in-game reward panel rather than assuming equal rates.
ZZZ World Endless Waves
Endless Waves in ZZZ World can provide Fine Cloth and Mana Feather. This is useful when you need both a Common and an Epic component, but the source listing does not establish their individual rates.

Shadow Gate Raid
Shadow Gate Raid is the source for Zero Calories Flour, Shadow Essence, Zero Calories Doughnuts, Igris Crest, Shadow’s Cloak, and Monarch’s Blessing. The reported rates are 80%, 53%, 47%, 40%, 47%, and 6.5%, respectively. Prioritize the raid when one of these is the missing recipe component; do not assume a raid clear can replace story-only materials.
Spirit’s Bathtub
Spirit’s Bathtub is listed for Ghost and Staff of Homa, both Mythic. Their reported chances are 33% and 25%. Because they are Mythic, keep them even if your current accessory plan does not use them.
Buying materials from Yugi the Forger
At the Crafting Station, Yugi the Forger’s material shop can cover some gaps. The reported shop prices are:

Gems have additional acquisition routes—modes and raids, daily quests, codes, and Robux—but that does not establish a particular Yugi shop price for Gems. Do not confuse “obtainable through Robux” with a guaranteed shop listing.
How to check a recipe before you delete anything
- Go to the Crafting Station.
- Talk to Yugi the Forger.
- Choose the accessory you are considering.
- Read the complete required-material list and note the quantities shown in-game.
- Compare that list with your inventory. Keep every listed component, including Common and Epic items.
- If you have all requirements, select Quick Craft and confirm the craft.
The resulting accessory can improve damage, critical rate, cooldowns, or another combat statistic. Because the benefit depends on the accessory and your build, do not spend a rare material until you have checked the exact recipe and decided that the stat effect fits your character.

When to keep immediately
- The item is Mythic or Legendary.
- The item appears in an accessory recipe you intend to craft.
- The item has a low stated chance, such as Monarch’s Blessing at 6.5% or Staff of Homa at 25%.
- The item comes from content you cannot clear consistently, making future replacement expensive in time.
When farming is better than buying
- The source is reliable for your account, such as a stage you can clear quickly.
- The shop price is high relative to your Coin balance, especially 150,000 Coins for a listed Mythic.
- You need several copies and Yugi’s limited stock cannot cover the quantity.
- The material is available from routine quests, codes, or broadly accessible modes.
When buying is reasonable
- A single missing component is preventing an otherwise ready accessory.
- The source is a difficult Nightmare stage or a low-rate raid drop.
- The 24-hour refresh gives you a chance to obtain the item sooner than repeated runs.
- You have enough Coins left for your other immediate upgrades.
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Deleting all Common and Epic items
This fails because lower tiers can remain recipe requirements. Fine Cloth and Shinobi Scroll are specifically listed as Common materials, while Gems, Mana Feather, and Shadow Essence are Epic examples that may be needed despite their lower position than Legendary and Mythic.

Mixing weapon and material rarity
Weapon rarity includes Arcane and Lyth, but those labels do not add tiers to the material system. Use the material’s own Common, Epic, Legendary, or Mythic label when deciding what to store.

Farming the wrong mode
A raid cannot substitute for an HxH story component, and Spirit’s Bathtub is not listed as a source for Shadow Gate materials. Start from the recipe’s missing item, then follow its reported source.
Assuming an unlisted rate
Only the exact percentages shown in the table are established. Avoid promising that a certain number of runs will produce Cursed Finger, Tech Component, or any other item whose rate is not stated.
Waiting indefinitely for the shop
Yugi’s stock is limited and the reported refresh is daily. Check once per refresh cycle, but continue farming if the item is available from a manageable source or if the listed price would cripple your Coin budget.

Protect Mythic and Legendary materials first, then reserve Common and Epic materials for recipes you genuinely plan to craft. Use exact source targeting—HxH acts for story materials, Trials for their listed rewards, ZZZ Endless Waves for Fine Cloth and Mana Feather, Shadow Gate Raid for its raid table, and Spirit’s Bathtub for Ghost and Staff of Homa. Yugi can solve a single bottleneck, but limited stock, a 24-hour refresh, and prices ranging from 2,500 to 150,000 Coins make the shop a tactical option rather than a replacement for farming.
