In the latest assessed ranking, Shadow Monarch, Flame Director, and Cataclysm are the strongest weapons to target for general PvE. Mochi Commander, Cursed King, and Immortal Sovereign are strong alternatives. This is an October 11, 2026 snapshot: Update 3 added three new Lyth weapons, but the guide had not ranked them yet.
Anime Zero weapon tier list
This ranking follows Pro Game Guides’ October 11, 2026 list of 14 assessed weapons. It is an editorial general-PvE judgment informed by balance notes, community recommendations, and the author’s experience—not a controlled damage test. Placement is not a permanent or measured DPS ordering.

The guide considers performance against groups and bosses, cooldown gaps, investment, the value of the second weapon slot, survivability, and balance changes. It does not establish that one weapon out-damages another simply because it appears first within a tier.

Shadow Monarch
Shadow Monarch is the clearest supported pick when raid safety matters: the guide reports invincibility frames on every skill and M1 attack. That makes it a notable S-tier target, particularly for players who value protection while dealing damage. Treat this as the guide’s description; exact move behavior can change with updates.

Flame Director and Cataclysm
Both are S-tier priorities in the latest assessed list. The available ranking does not provide controlled, comparable DPS figures that would prove either is the single best damage choice. Consider their full movesets, your build, and the content you play rather than summoning on a damage claim the evidence does not establish.
Mochi Commander, Cursed King, and Immortal Sovereign
These A-tier weapons are strong alternatives. An earlier October Beebom ranking placed Cataclysm and Cursed King in S tier, describing Cataclysm as fast with short cooldowns and Cursed King as safer in raids. That earlier snapshot predates the October 11 Update 3 note; the difference in Cursed King’s tier illustrates why patch date matters more than treating any list as permanent.

Lower-tier weapons
B-, C-, and D-tier placement is a priority signal, not a reason to discard a developed weapon automatically. If a lower-ranked weapon is your best-built option, it can still contribute while you progress. Before spending resources on a replacement, compare actual build investment and the second-slot moveset you would gain.
Update 3 weapons are not ranked yet
Update 3, called Void Arbiter, introduced three Lyth weapons: Blue Flame Heir (Rin Okumura), Eternal Archmage (Frieren), and Starlight Diva (Astra Yao). The update note says they are obtained through the new Trails mode, but the October 11 guide had not yet assessed their performance. Their tier placements and summon value therefore remain unestablished in this snapshot.

How to decide if a summon is worth it
A tier label is only a starting point. Compare the weapon you might summon with what your current build actually needs:
- Check damage and coverage. Does its kit handle groups, single bosses, or both in the modes you play?
- Consider safety. Invincibility frames can matter in raids, but do not assume every long animation or skill is protected. The guide notes that invincibility windows on some weapons changed, and their current exact scope is not always specified.
- Look at cooldown gaps. Assess what the weapon can do between its major skills, not just its strongest move.
- Compare like-for-like investment. Levels of evolution, traits, accessories, and skill-tree investment can affect comparisons; a lightly developed weapon is not a fair proxy for its full potential.
- Value the second slot. Judge the moveset available after switching as well as any pair bonus. A synergy is not automatically worthwhile if it means giving up a stronger second weapon.
- Match the mode. A kit suited to raids may not be the best fit for story clearing, farming, or Endless progression.
Do weapon pair bonuses make a summon worthwhile?
Named weapon synergies can add value, but they are only one part of the decision. The guide lists six named pair bonuses and says other combinations receive a default damage bonus; it also cautions that losing a stronger second moveset can cost more than a synergy provides.

One specific pairing the guide recommends is Shadow Monarch with Flame Director. Flame Director’s described Skill 2 passive is personal to Hu Tao; it does not double Shadow Monarch’s damage after switching weapons. The pairing can still be useful for bringing two strong movesets, but do not count that personal passive as a transferable buff.

Anime Zero’s official Roblox listing by LY* says, “Anime Zero is currently in active development,” and warns that players may encounter bugs, performance issues, or incomplete features. The tier list is a guide author’s assessment, not an official developer ranking, and the game’s balance and newly released weapons can make placements change. Use the October 11, 2026 list as a dated guide to the weapons it assessed, not a guarantee of future performance.
