AOC announced the 34-inch AGON PRO AG346UCD on October 23, 2024, describing it as “a significant leap forward” in immersive ultrawide displays. The monitor pairs a 3440×1440 QD-OLED panel with a 175 Hz refresh rate, but the performance figures below are AOC’s announced specifications—not independent test results. The launch announcement gave a UK MSRP of £669.99 and expected availability from late October 2024; those are historical launch terms, not current price or stock information.
What are the AOC AGON PRO AG346UCD specifications?
AOC’s October 2024 announcement describes the AG346UCD as a curved 34-inch QD-OLED monitor built around a 21:9 ultrawide screen. Its 1800R curve and 3440×1440 UWQHD resolution are intended to provide a wide gaming image while retaining more vertical resolution than a 1080p ultrawide.
| Specification | AOC’s announced details |
|---|---|
| Panel and size | 34-inch QD-OLED |
| Aspect ratio and curve | 21:9; 1800R |
| Resolution and refresh rate | 3440×1440 UWQHD; 175 Hz |
| Response-time claim | Up to 0.03 ms GtG |
| HDR and color | DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification; 10-bit color depth |
| Adaptive sync | VESA Adaptive-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro |
| Ports listed | 2× HDMI 2.0; 1× DisplayPort 1.4; 3-port USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub |
| Audio | Two integrated 8W speakers |
| Stand adjustments | 130 mm height adjustment, tilt and swivel |
These figures come from the launch announcement as reproduced by PC Guide on October 23, 2024. The 0.03 ms GtG response time is a manufacturer claim, not a measurement reported in that article. The source likewise does not provide independent brightness, color-accuracy, input-lag or motion-handling results.
What do the refresh rate, resolution and ultrawide format mean for games?
The combination is aimed at PC gaming where a wide field of view and high refresh rate are useful. At 3440×1440, the monitor has more horizontal pixels than a conventional 2560×1440 display, while its 175 Hz ceiling allows compatible systems and games to display high frame rates. Whether a game supports 21:9 properly—and whether a PC can render it at a high frame rate—depends on the game and hardware.

AOC lists two HDMI 2.0 inputs, one DisplayPort 1.4 input and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports in a hub. Why did AOC call it a “significant leap forward”?
Cesar Acosta, Gaming Product Manager at AGON by AOC, called the AG346UCD “a significant leap forward in immersive ultrawide displays.” He tied the claim to the QD-OLED panel, 175 Hz refresh rate and gaming features, and described its colors, response and contrast in promotional terms. That language represents AOC’s positioning; the launch coverage does not independently establish that the monitor outperforms competing displays or is suitable for every use.
What did AOC announce about price and availability?
The October 23, 2024 announcement set a UK recommended retail price of £669.99 and said the AG346UCD would be available from late October 2024. Those details establish the original UK launch terms only. The cited announcement does not verify the monitor’s present-day price, stock or availability in the UK or other regions.

What the launch announcement does—and does not—establish
The announcement provides a useful specification snapshot, but it is not a review. It does not establish measured brightness, color accuracy, input lag, burn-in experience, long-term reliability, warranty terms or real-world motion performance. Buyers comparing it with another monitor should verify current regional listings and look for independent testing of the characteristics that matter to their setup.
