EA announced its Apex Legends and Gundam collaboration on March 3, 2026, with the in-game event scheduled to begin March 10. It included a Gundam-themed Wildcard takeover, character and weapon cosmetics, and three limited-edition 1/144-scale Gunpla kits. The announced event store was scheduled to run through April 14, 2026, so that date has passed; the announcement does not establish current access to the digital items or current kit stock.
What was in the Apex Legends x Gundam collaboration?
EA’s March 3, 2026 announcement described a limited-time Gundam Takeover in Wildcard mode on Broken Moon. The official Apex Legends trailer also announced the March 10 arrival.
A Gundam-themed Broken Moon takeover
EA said the map would feature destroyed Mobile Suits, large climbable Wing Gundam statues, and ships battling overhead. These were announced event features, not independently verified gameplay observations.
Event weapons and Wild Cards
The announcement highlighted a Buster Rifle available from Care Packages and Bit Staves for defense or drone commands. It also named four Wild Cards: Epyon’s Lash, Heavyarms Salvo, Zero Sacrifice, and Zero Rebirth.

- The latest internal frame design features a semi-monocoque structure, letting you experience the process of building a Mobile Suit
- The joint structure, returning to the original design, incorporates a new mechanism where the parts that look like joints bend properly by reinterpreting the movable axis
- The legs, inspired by the close combat MS Gundam that it's known for, use composite frame joints to create a human-like outline even when moved
- Details are intricately carved into parts not visible from the outside, such as joints and the backs of parts. Noticeable mounting holes have been removed, resulting in a seamless, integrated design
- The product box will have a Bandai Namco warning label, which is proof that you are purchasing an officially licensed product
Which physical Gundam Gunpla kits did EA announce?
The collaboration included three limited-edition 1/144-scale model kits. EA said online preorders would begin March 18, 2026, while supplies lasted, and directed interested readers to the Apex Legends Shop or Premium Bandai for details.

Check the Apex Legends Shop or Premium Bandai directly for current listings; an Amazon search phrase is “Apex Legends Gundam Gunpla model kit,” but no current Amazon listing is established here.

When did the event run, and can players still get its items?
EA announced the collaboration on March 3, 2026, and said Gundam would come to the Outlands on March 10. The limited-time event store was scheduled to run through April 14, 2026. Because that end date has passed, the announcement is not evidence that the store or its items are currently available. It also does not confirm present availability of the physical kits.
