Before you start
Apollo offers A First Foothold after you unlock The Blue Gate. All four objectives are on that map. Since progress can carry across visits, choose an objective near your planned route instead of trying to cross the whole map in one raid. Where to complete all four objectives
Stabilize the observation deck near Ridgeline
Head to the observation deck in the Ridgeline area and interact with its mechanism to stabilize it. Follow the in-game objective cue to locate the interaction point; a more precise approach route is not established in the available guides.

Enable the comms terminal near Olive Grove
Find the comms terminal in the Olive Grove area and activate it. Use the quest marker and nearby cues to locate the terminal.

Rotate the satellite dishes on the church roof
Go to the church north of Data Vault, reach its roof, and interact with the satellite dishes to rotate them. The landmark is the church roof, rather than the Data Vault itself.
Nail down the roof plates at the Raider structure
At the Raider structure near Trapper’s Glade, find and interact with the roof plates to nail them down. This objective is a small button hunt: check the structure’s roof and follow the current in-game prompts. A December update added props and visual cues to the final camp to make the objective locations easier to spot, so older screenshots or directions may not match what you see. How to plan the quest across raids
- Pick the nearest landmark. Before each run, check which of the four locations best fits your route.
- Complete the interaction. Confirm that the objective registers in your quest progress before moving on.
- Continue on another visit if needed. The objectives can be split across raids, so there is no need to force a full-map circuit into one run.
Quest rewards
The community quest page lists two Noisemakers as granted items and three each of Shrapnel Grenades, Snap Blast Grenades, and Heavy Fuze Grenades as completion rewards. These figures come from a community wiki rather than an official Embark quest page. A First Foothold quest page
