There is no single best blueprint-farming route in ARC Raiders: the right run depends on the recipe you want, its listed drop source, and whether you can extract safely after finding it. Build a compact route around the relevant containers or event, then leave as soon as you secure the blueprint. This guide reflects information available on October 4, 2026, before the planned October 8 Frozen Trail update; locations and drop pools may change after launch.
How blueprint farming works
Blueprints are crafting recipes, not finished items. According to the ARC Raiders Hub blueprint guide, you must extract with a blueprint and use the “consume and learn” action in Speranza before you can craft from it. If you are knocked out or otherwise fail to extract, you can lose the item and the chance to learn it.
That makes a blueprint run a two-part objective: find a source that matches your target, then survive the trip out. Don’t treat a detour for extra loot as worthwhile once you have the recipe unless you are comfortable risking it.
No official overall blueprint drop probability is published in the sources reviewed. PandaPlay gives an unofficial estimate of about 1–2% per container, but it is not an Embark statistic or a guaranteed chance; container type and the specific blueprint source matter. PandaPlay’s blueprint guide

Choose a route by container priority
PandaPlay’s route guide prioritizes concentrated, higher-value opportunities, while residential containers can be useful for quick, repeated searches. Treat this as third-party farming advice, not a promise of a drop:
- First Wave Raider Caches during Hurricane: a notable blueprint target, although Embark reduced rare blueprint rates in these caches in March 2026.
- Security Lockers and black Raider Boxes: prioritize these when the route can reach them without excessive exposure.
- Breachable or keyed rooms: useful for concentrating valuable loot in a small area, provided you have the means to enter and enough time to leave.
- Drawers, dressers, and fridges: lower-friction residential searches that can add container opportunities along a compact route.
Embark’s March 18, 2026 Patch Notes 1.18.0 say the studio “Lowered the drop rate of rare blueprints slightly and raised the drop rate for high tier materials in First Wave Caches on the Hurricane map condition.” It also said caches would remain a solid source, but not a way to reliably leave every session with three to five blueprints. The note gives no exact odds.

Area shortlist by map
The following locations are reported by PandaPlay as useful areas to search. The guide’s map recommendations are not exclusive drop locations, and conditions, access, and contest risk can affect whether a route is practical.
- Dam Battlegrounds: Control Tower, Power Generation Complex, Ruby Residence, Pale Apartments, the hidden vault under West Broken Bridge, and lower bridge-support breach rooms.
- Buried City: Plaza Rosa Pharmacy, Hospital, Santa Maria Houses, Grandioso Apartments, Town Hall, Piazza Arbusto’s breach door at night, and the Marano Station breach room.
- Spaceport: Arrival and Departure Buildings, Control Tower A6, upper Vehicle Maintenance, Launch Towers, and the Fuel Lines route. The guide flags rooftop security lockers as contested.
- Blue Gate: Pilgrim’s Peak, Raider’s Refuge, Ancient Fort, Underground Warehouse Complex, and Reinforced Reception. The security-wing breach room beneath Reinforced Reception is highlighted as an augment target.
- Stella Montis: Security Checkpoint, Medical Research, Assembly Workshop, Business Center, and Western Tunnel security lockers.
- Riven Tides: the guide lists Crash Mat, Powered Descender, and White Flag as possible from any container on this map; verify the pool in the current build.
Plan a short loop that passes the right loot sources and keeps an exit route in view. If you find your target, cut the loop short and extract.

Match the route to the blueprint
PandaPlay’s September 16, 2026 guide lists scavengable blueprints across multiple maps in many cases; its recommended map is a farming preference, not necessarily the only map where a blueprint can appear. Some recipes instead have condition-, event-, boss-, or quest-specific sources. Check the item’s stated source before choosing a run.
| Blueprint or group | Reported source | Route implication |
|---|---|---|
| Tempest | Night Raid or Hurricane; any container under those conditions, and First Wave Caches during Hurricane. | PandaPlay recommends Buried City at night, including Hospital-area containers, residential houses, Town Hall’s key breach room, and the Space Travel building. |
| Anvil and Venator | Raider Containers; no required condition is listed. | Choose a route that encounters Raider Containers and weapon boxes rather than waiting for a specific condition. |
| Bobcat | Locked Gate or Hurricane; First Wave Caches during Hurricane are also listed. | Locked Gate is event- and timing-dependent, so plan around availability rather than assuming it will be active. |
| Snap Hook | Electromagnetic Storm and any container. | The guide points to Dam Battlegrounds’ Primary Facility and Generator Hall. |
| Jupiter and Equalizer | Harvester event containers; described as not ordinary scavenging drops. | Target the event rather than spending a run searching ordinary containers. |
| Vulcano | Hidden Bunker or Hurricane; any container in the event zone or First Wave Caches are listed. | Choose an available event or condition route that suits your risk tolerance. |
| Aphelion | Matriarch boss drop. | Plan for the boss encounter; a container loop is not the stated source. |
| Trigger ‘Nade, Lure Grenade, Burletta, and Hullcracker | Quest rewards. | Check the current quest requirements and rewards before farming containers. |
| Vita Shot | Stage 2 of the Trophy Project. | Progress the project and confirm its current reward screen. |
| Many blueprints, with Snap Hook and Jupiter named as exclusions | Weekly Trial top-tier crates, according to PandaPlay. | Check the current Trial rules and crate rewards; the guide does not establish every blueprint as eligible. |
These item sources and route suggestions come from the PandaPlay guide, not an official drop table. Verify conditions and rewards in game because updates can change availability.

What should you craft first?
There is no evidence-based universal tier list that fits every collection, material stash, Workshop level, and playstyle. Choose a recipe by asking whether it fills a gap in your current kit, what it costs to make, and whether its role is more valuable to you than another available craft.
- Start with a concrete need: prioritize a weapon, attachment, augment, grenade, or utility item you intend to use.
- Check station and material requirements in the Workshop: recipe costs are patch-sensitive. PandaPlay, for example, lists Tempest as requiring Gunsmith 3, 1 Magnetic Accelerator, 3 Medium Gun Parts, and 2 Exodus Modules; confirm the current in-game recipe before spending materials.
- Weigh survival utility as well as damage: PandaPlay describes Looting Mk. 3 (Safekeeper) as providing a secure pocket and Tactical Mk. 3 (Revival) as including a defibrillator with a 240-second cooldown. Confirm current item descriptions in game.
- Learn the recipe only after a safe return: use the blueprint’s learn action in Speranza before planning to craft it.
For any close choice, compare the station level, material cost, item role, survival or utility benefit, and how well the craft fits your loadout. A recipe that is broadly useful can still be a poor use of scarce materials if you will not equip it.

What may change after October 8, 2026?
As of October 4, Embark’s latest update note located for this guide was Store Update 1.48.0, dated September 30; it says Frozen Trail is planned for October 8. Embark’s September 23 Frozen Trail preview names Pendola Pass, the Frigate operation, and the Bully enemy. An August announcement says the update adds Outposts and invites players to investigate elements of the world, but the official sources available by October 4 do not explain whether that research system affects blueprint acquisition.
Embark’s September 28 announcement says the Frozen Trail Collector Set DLC is the only way to get the blueprint for the new Banjo musical instrument. That is a specific DLC acquisition route, not a general farming method. Recheck drop pools, locations, and crafting details after Frozen Trail launches.
