Where to mark all four sites for Back on Top
The objectives are spread across Dam Battlegrounds, The Blue Gate, Spaceport, and Buried City. Mark the specified building or tower at each location. You can choose deployment order based on your current spawn or route; the available guides do not establish a special required tool, guaranteed safe route, or tested shortcut.

Dam Battlegrounds: Pattern House
Mark the Pattern House at the northern tip of the map, as described in GameSpot’s quest guide.

Mark the white lookout tower south of the Warehouse Complex.

In Buried Properties, mark the building with the mural.
The four map names also appear in Embark Studios’ official ARC Raiders overview, which gives general context for the game’s locations, quests, gear, and traders.

Who gives the quest, and what does it reward?
Back on Top is assigned by Tian Wen. The community-maintained ARC Raiders Wiki lists Celeste’s Journals, Eyes In The Sky, and The Major’s Footlocker as preceding quests; treat that prerequisite information as community-reference guidance, not official confirmation.
Quest references list the rewards as one Renegade I, one Stable Stock III, and 80 Medium Ammo.

Was the disappearing-quest issue fixed?
Fix status is unconfirmed in the sources checked. A Reddit thread dated November 13–29, 2025 contains player reports that Back on Top vanished after an update. In the thread, one player said completing Eyes in the Sky let them take the quest again with already completed objectives still checked; another attributed recovery to completing The Major’s Footlocker. These are anecdotes, not proof of the cause, the issue’s scope, or a reliable workaround.
General patch-note material was located, but it did not identify a note specifically confirming a Back on Top disappearance or progression fix. That does not establish that no fix exists; it means a quest-specific official fix was not verified in the sources checked.

What to check if Back on Top is missing
- Check whether the listed preceding quests—Celeste’s Journals, Eyes In The Sky, and The Major’s Footlocker—are complete, then check your current quest list again. This is a reasonable check based on the wiki’s listed quest relationship, not a guaranteed recovery method.
- If the quest is still absent, consult current official support or patch notes for the latest status. The player reports do not establish a dependable workaround.
