Embark acknowledged and fixed specific ARC Raiders door problems in Update 1.47.0 on September 22, 2026. One involved a door appearing open to a player while actually remaining closed; another involved a duplicated mesh created by door blockers. A recent Reddit thread shows some players are frustrated by getting stuck in doorways, but it does not establish how widespread that separate reported symptom is—or whether the patch addressed it.
What the ARC Raiders door glitch does
There is not just one door issue being described. Embark’s official Store Update 1.47.0 notes, published September 22, 2026, list two distinct fixes:
- Door desynchronization: a door could appear open to a player even though it was actually closed. Embark wrote: “Fixed an issue where doors could become out of sync in some cases, making them appear open to the player whilst actually being closed.”
- Duplicated blocker mesh: door blockers could create a duplicate mesh on the opposite side of where they were placed.
These are the problems Embark explicitly named in the update. A player getting physically stuck in a doorway is a symptom reported separately by players; the available notes do not confirm whether it is the same underlying defect.
What players say about getting stuck
In a recent r/ArcRaiders thread titled “Is there a workaround for the door glitch?”, the post’s author says they sometimes get stuck in a doorway and cannot get through. Some commenters describe losing gear or dying and express anger; others suggest going around or respond jokingly.

That thread is an anecdotal snapshot of visible frustration, not evidence that most players are affected or that the community has reached a consensus. It does not establish the issue’s prevalence, affected platforms, reproducibility, or connection to the desynchronization fix in Update 1.47.0.
Did a later update fix it?
Embark’s Store Update 1.48.0 notes, published September 29, 2026, cover cosmetic variants and the upcoming Frozen Trail update but do not mention another door fix. That means the reviewed public notes do not document a further fix; their silence does not prove that every door issue is gone or that the stuck-door report remains unfixed.
The most precise status is that Embark documented fixes for door desynchronization and duplicated blocker geometry in 1.47.0, while the specific stuck-in-a-doorway report has no confirmed fix or scope in the reviewed notes.

The September 2026 issues are different from an older exploit that let players enter locked rooms without a keycard to loot them. GamesRadar reported that Embark addressed locked-room exploits in Update 1.4.0 on November 27, 2025. That historical exploit involved unauthorized entry; the 2026 patch notes describe a mismatched door state and blocker mesh geometry.
