Where to look for a Flow Controller on Stella Montis
Flow Controller is scavenged as part of the Exodus loot pool. The location guides do not identify a guaranteed spawn point or a verified spawn rate, so finding one depends on the raid’s random loot.
Medical Research
Search rooms and corridors for containers and drawers. AllThings.How describes Medical Research as a commonly reported hotspot, but it may be contested and is not a confirmed spawn.
Assembly Workshop
Check breachable cabinets and other storage in the Assembly Workshop area. Players have reportedly found Flow Controllers there, but the area is not guaranteed to produce one. These hotspot recommendations come from secondary guides, not an official confirmation of precise spawn locations.

For both areas, search available storage rather than expecting the item at a particular coordinate. The AllThings.How location guide describes these search areas; the MetaForge item entry, updated September 20, 2026, also lists Flow Controller as an Exodus item.

The ARC Raiders Wiki item entry classifies Flow Controller as a Rare recyclable item found by scavenging Stella Montis. It is needed for the Snap and Salvage quest. The walkthrough from PC Gamer, published November 14, 2025, says Tian Wen asks for a Flow Controller and a Magnetron, and describes both as salvage items rather than quest-only items.

Keep it for the quest, recycle it, or sell it?
If Snap and Salvage is still unfinished, prioritize extracting the Flow Controller for the delivery to Tian Wen. Once you no longer need it for the quest, recycling yields one Advanced Mechanical Component and one Sensor, according to the ARC Raiders Wiki; this item-reference yield may change with patches.
AllThings.How reported a sale value of 3,000 coins in its guide updated November 15, 2025. That figure is patch-sensitive secondary-guide information, not a guaranteed current value, so check the live in-game value before deciding to sell. The practical choice is quest progress first, then compare the current sale value with the listed recycling materials.
