Those were the maps shown in that dated snapshot, not a permanent list or a prediction of the next rotation. Check the tracker again near your play session, with the appropriate region selected.
A community reference describes the Frigate as a large airborne ARC carrier and says it arrived with the Frozen Trail update on October 8, 2026. It presents boarding as a challenge for experienced Raiders, with interior routes, ARC enemies, rare-tech possibilities, and the risk of encountering other squads. Treat that as general context, not an official specification of difficulty, rewards, or player traffic.

How to find and board the Frigate
PC Gamer’s October 8, 2026 walkthrough reports a boarding route involving a circular ARC drone emitted when the Frigate arrives. The sequence below reflects that guide’s description; a game update could change the event, so follow what the current match actually presents.
- Confirm that the event is scheduled. Check Embark’s live map-condition tracker for your server region and the current Frigate window. The event rotates, so do not assume a particular map or time from an older schedule.
- Look for a circular ARC drone after the Frigate arrives. The walkthrough describes these drones as the route to boarding. It does not establish that one will be in a particular location or that every arrival will play out identically.
- Climb or grapple onto the drone. The guide says to reach the drone by climbing or using a grapple. The exact safe route may depend on the terrain and what is happening around you.
- Interact with the drone to disrupt it. According to the walkthrough, disrupting the drone causes it to fly back to the Frigate.
- Use the returning drone to board. The guide describes this as the way onto the carrier. Once aboard, expect to deal with navigation and ARC threats rather than assuming that boarding completes the event or quest.
If you cannot find a drone or the interaction does not behave as described, first check that the Frigate event is active in that match. Then use the visible cues and available interactions in the current build rather than repeatedly relying on a route documented on October 8.
What to expect inside: enemies, routes, and the quest
The walkthrough ties the Frigate to the “Boarding the Frigate” quest and reports three targets: a Rocketeer, a Vaporizer, and a Hydra turret. It says damaging each target is sufficient; you do not have to land the killing blow. That distinction matters if another Raider or ARC enemy finishes a target after you have contributed damage. The guide does not establish that every encounter spawns in the same place or in the same order.

Rocketeer and Vaporizer
The guide describes the Rocketeer and Vaporizer as large flying ARC enemies. Its quest advice is to damage both, not necessarily to eliminate them yourself. If you are tracking quest progress, pay attention to whether your damage has registered rather than assuming that a kill is required.
Hydra turret
The Hydra is described as a dangerous multigun turret, with the walkthrough reporting an encounter on the Frigate’s top level. Treat that location as a guide’s reported encounter, not a guaranteed spawn position. Its description also signals why moving into an exposed firing lane without a plan can be costly; the source does not provide a guaranteed method for disabling or bypassing it.
Opening routes and moving through the interior
According to the walkthrough, switches and shooting yellow nodes can open new platforms. Look for those interactable or shootable elements when a route appears blocked, rather than assuming a passage is permanently inaccessible. A Grappling Hook can help skip some sections, the guide says, but it does not establish that every traversal obstacle can be bypassed or that a hook is required.

The guide recommends bringing ample ammunition and healing, and says a Grappling or Snap Hook can be useful. These are practical guide recommendations, not a mandatory loadout, a tested minimum, or a guarantee that a particular kit will carry a run. The available descriptions support calling the Frigate a challenging activity aimed at experienced players, but they do not support a numerical difficulty score or a universal claim that it is impossible, easy, or best attempted solo. They also do not document how enemy strength or event behavior scales with the number of players.
