How to start “After Rain Comes”
Finish Celeste’s Eyes in the Sky quest first. Then speak with Celeste to receive “After Rain Comes.” The quest dialogue explains that a flash flood damaged solar panels in Buried City and the settlement’s generators are running low.
What to bring
- 5 Wires
- 2 Batteries
Carry both item types when you deploy. The repair interaction uses these materials at the objective, so collecting them after reaching the panels is too late for that run.
Where to find the flooded solar panels
- Deploy to Buried City.
- Go to Grandioso Apartments in the southwest area.
- Search by the pond for the flooded solar panels. A community quest reference places them north of the pond and east of the building; treat that as a landmark guide rather than an exact coordinate.
Stay alert while moving through the area. The level of danger can vary from match to match.

How to repair the panels
Approach the flooded solar panels and use the on-screen interaction prompt. The game applies the 5 Wires and 2 Batteries you brought; completing the interaction finishes the repair objective.
“After Rain Comes” quest rewards

If the objective does not work
- No repair prompt: Confirm you are at the flooded panels by the pond near Grandioso Apartments, rather than another solar installation.
- Missing materials: Check your inventory for 5 Wires and 2 Batteries. If you deployed without them, the repair cannot be completed at the objective on that run.
- Quest unavailable: Check that Eyes in the Sky is complete, then speak with Celeste and confirm “After Rain Comes” is active in your quest tracker.
