What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
The ARC Raiders “In Queue” message can mean two different things: waiting to access the game before reaching the hub, or matchmaking after you select a raid. The right next step depends on where it appears. Embark’s published guidance covers slow matchmaking and PC connection problems, but the sources checked do not confirm a current global outage or define the pre-hub message.
First, identify which queue you are in
| Where the message appears | What is likely happening | What to try |
|---|---|---|
| Before you reach the hub, with normal online functions unavailable | A possible game-access or login queue. Historical reports describe this state, but do not confirm that it is happening now. | Check Embark’s current support updates and announcements. If there is no confirmed service issue, avoid assuming local network changes will clear it. |
| After selecting a raid | Ordinary matchmaking: the game is searching for a raid. | Check Crossplay for everyone in your party, set the server to Automatic, and sync your device clock if matchmaking or map conditions fail. |
| Repeated connection errors or disconnections on PC | A connection problem may be involved, though the symptom alone does not establish its cause. | Use Embark’s PC connection checks, starting with your connection and device settings. |
The “In Queue” wording by itself does not tell you whether you are waiting to enter the game or waiting for a raid. Historical reporting about a pre-hub queue is not evidence of a present outage: the 2025 guide describes earlier reports, while Embark’s support index is not a live server-status page. Check official updates before treating the issue as a global service incident.
If matchmaking is taking too long
Check Crossplay across the party
Embark identifies Crossplay settings as a common reason for long searches and says enabling Crossplay can help find games faster. Check the setting for every party member: the most restrictive member’s setting applies to the party. See Embark’s matchmaking troubleshooting guidance.
Set the server to Automatic
- On PC: select the gear icon at the bottom right, then open Gameplay > Server and choose Automatic.
- On console: open Social, select the gear icon, then go to Gameplay > Server and choose Automatic.
Sync your device clock if matching or map conditions fail
Embark also recommends synchronizing your device’s clock if you cannot find a match or access map conditions. This is a targeted check for those symptoms, not a guaranteed fix for every long search.

Allow for matchmaking changes
In a July 22, 2026 report, PC Gamer said Embark had made matchmaking adjustments intended to improve match quality. The report quoted an unnamed developer saying, “One thing to note: the algorithm may take a little longer to find a match, since it’s now working harder to find you a better one.” That report concerned raid matchmaking; it does not explain a queue before hub access or establish which matchmaking behavior is active now. Read the PC Gamer report.
If your PC connection is unstable
Embark’s PC troubleshooting page, last updated February 27, 2026, recommends a stable internet connection and wired Ethernet over Wi-Fi where possible. Its other checks focus on local connectivity; they cannot confirm or repair an Embark-side service problem. Follow the full PC connection checklist, which includes:
