Locked Gate is a map condition for The Blue Gate in ARC Raiders. To open the gate, players must find four security codes at named locations and enter them at terminals in the Gate Control Room. It has a reputation as a rare sight, but available sources do not establish that it is the game’s rarest condition or show when it will next appear.
What is the Locked Gate condition?
Locked Gate is a condition associated with The Blue Gate map, not a separate standalone event. The official ARC Raiders map-conditions page lists it for The Blue Gate. The ARC Raiders Wiki guide describes the locked gate and underground tunnels as part of the condition.
The official page provides a region-selectable schedule interface, but the available listing does not establish a current or upcoming appearance for any particular region. Check the live schedule in-game or on the official page rather than relying on an old reported time.
How do you get into the Locked Gate on Blue Gate?
- Find the four security codes. The ARC Raiders Wiki names Raider’s Refuge, Pilgrim’s Peak, Reinforced Reception, and Ancient Fort as the locations associated with the codes.
- Reach the Gate Control Room. The wiki says the codes are submitted at terminals there. GameSpot places the gate at the northeastern tip of the Checkpoint point of interest, near the Gate Control Room; treat that as a guide’s location description.
- Enter all four codes. According to the wiki, the gate opens after all four have been entered. The objective therefore depends on completing the code collection across the named locations, not finding a single key.

The available guide information identifies four code locations, rather than publishing the codes themselves as fixed values:

What changes during the raid?
The ARC Raiders Wiki reports fewer active Return Points, no active Raider Hatches, and a maximum raid duration of 40 minutes for Locked Gate. These are guide-reported condition details, not a guarantee that every later game version or rotation will behave identically.

GameSpot reports that the underground area has above-average loot and associates the condition with the Bobcat blueprint. That does not establish a guaranteed blueprint drop, an official drop rate, or an official exclusivity rule.
Is Locked Gate really ARC Raiders’ rarest event?
That superlative is not established by official occurrence data. An All Things How article dated December 12, 2025 says an early appearance lasted about an hour and that many players missed it. That account helps explain the condition’s reputation, but it does not document the full regional run history or compare Locked Gate’s frequency with every other map condition.

There is also no confirmed current rotation time in the official listing available here. The accurate description is that Locked Gate is a condition with a player reputation for being elusive—not a proven, statistically ranked rarest event.

In a PC Gamer interview, ARC Raiders design director Virgil Watkins discussed revising conditions that players approached differently from the intended design, saying: “So that one’s a good use case for where revisions are probably required, right?” The excerpt does not confirm a specific Locked Gate change. It should not be read as evidence that the code objective or other mechanics were subsequently altered.
