If ARC Raiders shows “matchmaking failed,” first sync your device clock, check crossplay settings, and set your matchmaking server to Automatic. These are Embark’s documented troubleshooting checks, not a guaranteed fix for every failed attempt. A long queue is a different symptom: Embark specifically links slow matchmaking to crossplay settings. The Server Slam was a three-day test in 2025 and is over; a separate PvE matchmaking toggle test was scheduled for October 13–20, 2026.
Try Embark’s matchmaking checks
Embark’s official matchmaking guidance, last updated February 27, 2026, covers players who are unable to find a match and those experiencing slow matchmaking. It does not diagnose every instance of the exact “matchmaking failed” message. Try the checks below in order; if the problem continues, consult Embark’s matchmaking troubleshooting guidance.
1. Synchronize your device clock
Embark recommends checking that your device’s date and time are synchronized if you cannot find a match or can join standard maps but not map conditions. Use your platform’s date-and-time settings to enable automatic time synchronization, then try matchmaking again. This is a troubleshooting recommendation, not a promise that a clock mismatch is the cause of your error. Embark’s clock troubleshooting guidance
2. Check crossplay, including party members
Embark says disabled crossplay is the most common reason matchmaking feels slow, and enabling it can help players find games faster. In a party, the most restrictive player’s crossplay setting governs the queue, so check the setting for every party member. This advice is specifically about slow matchmaking; Embark does not say that crossplay explains every failed attempt. Embark’s crossplay guidance

Is ARC Raiders down right now?
The official sources reviewed do not confirm a current outage or establish that servers are healthy. Embark’s support center provides technical help and release notes, but the reviewed pages do not provide a live operational status feed. Check Embark’s support center and official announcements for current guidance; without a current incident notice, an outage remains unconfirmed.
Server Slam versus the October 2026 PvE test
These are separate events. Embark announced the Server Slam as a scheduled pre-launch stress test in 2025. The later PvE matchmaking toggle test was announced for October 2026; it was not another Server Slam.

- Cat 8 Speed, Cat 5/5e Value Enjoy Cat 8 Ethernet cable performance at a Cat 5/5e-level value. With up to 40Gbps speed and 2000MHz bandwidth, this high speed internet cable delivers more bandwidth than standard Cat 5 and Cat 5e cables, helping support smooth gaming, streaming, video calls, large file transfers and everyday wired network use.
- 40Gbps Speed, Wide Compatibility This Cat 8 Ethernet cable supports up to 40Gbps data transfer and 2000MHz bandwidth for fast, reliable internet performance. Standard RJ45 connectors are backward compatible with Cat7, Cat6, Cat6a and Cat5e devices, including routers, modems, switches, gaming PCs, PS5, PS4, Xbox, smart TVs, laptops and printers.
- Stable U/FTP Shielding Each of the 4 twisted pairs is individually wrapped with aluminum foil to help reduce crosstalk, noise, and signal interference. Combined with RJ45 connectors on both ends, the U/FTP design helps maintain cleaner signal transmission for a stable and reliable wired network connection.
- Nylon Braided Durability The nylon braided jacket adds everyday durability while keeping the cable flexible and easy to route. Reinforced construction helps the cord handle bending, pulling and frequent plugging, making it a reliable choice for desks, gaming rooms, home offices and long-term network setups.
- 50ft Reach for More Setups The 50 ft length makes it easier to connect devices across rooms, along walls, under desks or around corners. Great for router-to-PC connections, modem-to-TV setups, gaming consoles, workstations, printers and other home network equipment that needs a longer Ethernet cable.

| PvE matchmaking toggle test | October 13–20, 2026 | Limited test allowing players to switch between classic PvPvE and PvE sessions. | Upcoming as of October 4, 2026. Embark said the toggle would be removed after the test and did not promise a permanent PvE mode. Embark’s PvE test announcement |
In the September 24, 2026 announcement, Embark described the PvE test as a limited experiment, not a commitment to a permanent mode: “This test is not a promise that there will be a PvE mode in the future, but take this as an indication that we are seriously considering it.” Embark’s announcement
