The reported Raider level cap in ARC Raiders is level 75. Reaching it requires 2,816,000 total XP, but level 75 does not let you unlock every skill in all three skill trees. It is the normal character-level ceiling—not a guarantee that your build is complete, and not a level increase granted by Expedition.
What is the max level in ARC Raiders?
Level 75 is the strongest available evidence for the post-launch Raider level cap. The in-game “Reach level 75” achievement/trophy, the published progression table, and post-launch guides all point to 75 as the current maximum Raider level. See PowerPyx’s trophy guide and the community XP table for the underlying references.

This corrects older information that described a level 15 cap. That figure came from earlier pre-release or testing material and does not describe the post-launch progression. A currently indexed page claiming a level 50 cap also conflicts with the level-75 achievement and XP data, so it should be treated as stale or erroneous.

How much XP is needed for level 75?
The reported level-75 threshold is 2,816,000 total XP. The progression table lists the level-75 increment as 50,000 XP. Because XP requirements and rewards can change with patches, treat these figures as the current published progression data rather than a permanent guarantee.

How you earn Raider XP
Reported XP sources include:
- Scavenging and searching containers or other loot sources
- Damaging or destroying ARC machines
- Damaging or knocking out other Raiders
- Time spent Topside
- Successfully extracting
The published table lists 3 XP per second of playtime and 5 XP per point of damage against Raiders. ARC-related values vary by enemy, so repeatedly farming one target is not necessarily equivalent to progressing through normal raids. Extraction also matters: a run can generate XP during play, but surviving lets you leave with loot and other rewards rather than losing the run’s risk-reward balance.
XP values have changed over time. A November 13, 2025 patch reportedly reduced XP from damaging ARC and from looting sections dropped by Bastions and Bombardiers. The available source does not establish whether later updates reverted or changed those reductions, so older “fastest XP” advice should not be assumed to remain accurate.

Does level 75 unlock the entire skill tree?
No. Level 75 is not a full three-tree skill-tree cap. Post-launch reporting says a level-75 Raider can reach the top abilities in two trees and spend additional points, but cannot unlock every skill across all three trees.

You still need to choose which parts of the skill system support your preferred approach—such as mobility, survivability, scavenging, or combat—because the level ceiling does not remove the trade-off between trees.

How many Skill Points do you get?
The exact total is unresolved in the available sources. The community wiki says one Skill Point is awarded whenever Raider level increases, while PowerPyx reports 76 total Skill Points at level 75. Those claims do not align cleanly enough to present either number as definitive.
For an exact live total, check the Skill screen in your current game version. Do not rely on a guide that simply states “75 points” or “76 points” without accounting for the game’s starting-point rules, bonuses, or later patches.

What Expedition changes—and what it does not
Expedition is an optional progression reset. Completing the Expedition Project and sending off your Raider resets that character’s level and most of its progression in exchange for long-term bonuses. It is not an automatic increase to the normal level cap.
Reported Expedition rewards include:
- Up to five bonus Skill Points based on end-of-season stash value
- Increased XP gain
- A new character
- More stash space
- Additional Scrappy materials
- Increased weapon repairs
After the reset, your Raider level is re-earned from the beginning. Available reporting describes the normal cap as remaining 75, with Expedition providing bonus progression benefits rather than raising that ceiling.

Should you complete Expedition before reaching level 75?
If you want the level-75 achievement or trophy on your current Raider, reach level 75 before sending that character away. PowerPyx reports that Expedition can make the achievement or trophy missable on the current character because the reset drops the Raider back below level 75; you would then need to climb to 75 again.
If the achievement is not your priority, Expedition can still be worthwhile when its permanent benefits fit your goals. The important choice is whether you prefer to keep a level-75 build and its current progression or exchange that progress for the Expedition package and a fresh climb with bonuses.
What level 75 means for your build
- It ends normal level progression. Once you reach 75, further build improvements come from your available Skill Points, equipment, playstyle, and Expedition-related bonuses—not from continuing to raise Raider level.
- It does not eliminate specialization. You cannot assume every skill in all three trees will be available, so decide which two trees or combinations best match your role.
- It makes respec decisions more important. Since the level cap does not provide unlimited access to every ability, test your priorities before committing to a final build. The available sources do not verify the current UI label or menu path for resetting skills, so use the live in-game controls rather than an unverified guide.
- It changes the Expedition decision. A level-75 Raider is an established build that can be preserved, while Expedition trades that progress for bonuses and a reset.
Bottom line
ARC Raiders’ reported max Raider level is 75, with a listed total requirement of 2,816,000 XP. Reaching 75 does not unlock the complete three-tree skill system, and the precise Skill Point total should be verified in the live game. Expedition does not raise the cap; it resets your Raider in return for bonuses. If you want the level-75 achievement or trophy, hit 75 before starting that reset.
