If you believe your own ARC Raiders restriction was issued in error, Embark’s published route is to appeal through its official Support flow; the company says appeals are reviewed individually and may result in a restriction being lifted.
What the January 2026 reports established
Insider Gaming reported on January 13, 2026, that streamer Tfue posted an “account blocked” pop-up and said he had received a 30-day ban. The story also described other players complaining about 30-day bans and users suspecting a problem with cheat detection or enforcement. It documented those complaints, but did not independently confirm that the blocks were false or determine how many players were affected. Insider Gaming’s report also relayed speculation that automated handling of player reports, sometimes described as “rage reports,” might be involved; it did not verify that as the cause.
The same report mentioned a separate argument about NICKMERCS’s aim on stream, with some viewers alleging cheating and others pointing to sticky aim assist as a possible explanation. That debate does not establish whether the account-block complaints were accurate.
Why an ARC Raiders account may be blocked
Embark’s Ban and Enforcement Policy, last updated February 26, 2026, defines a ban as a temporary or permanent suspension of access. Its examples of conduct that may lead to enforcement include cheating, hacks, third-party tools that affect gameplay, attempts to bypass anti-cheat, unfair exploitation of bugs, abusive conduct, account boosting or farming, account sharing or sale, and trading in-game items for value.

The policy warns that external software interacting with the game can trigger an anti-cheat violation even unintentionally. That is a general warning, not evidence that any particular player named in the complaints used prohibited software or broke a rule. Embark says it will tell players the enforcement reason when they appeal, but it does not provide specific detection details. Its appeal guidance says detailed evidence and detection methods are withheld to protect security systems.

How to appeal an ARC Raiders ban
Embark’s published appeal route is through ARC Raiders Support. The policy directs players to sign in with an Embark ID, open the support chat bubble, select “Ban Appeals,” then “In-Game Ban,” and provide the ban or error message along with relevant context.
- Open the official ARC Raiders Support page and log in with the Embark ID associated with the restricted account.
- Open the support chat bubble and choose “Ban Appeals,” then “In-Game Ban.”
- Include the exact message shown and any relevant context that could help explain why you believe the restriction was mistaken.
Embark’s appeals guidance allows one appeal per eligible active restriction. It describes three possible decisions: the restriction can be upheld, adjusted, or lifted if it was applied in error. Hardware restrictions are described as final and not appealable under that guidance.
What Embark says happens during review
Embark describes appeals as individually reviewed by a moderator. In its May 7, 2026 “Ensuring Fair Play” statement, the company said, “Every ban appeal is reviewed by a person on our team.” It also acknowledged that support may use prepared responses for consistency. These are Embark’s descriptions of its process, not independent verification of the handling of any specific case.
In an anti-cheat update dated September 30, 2026, Executive Producer Aleksander Grøndal said: “Anti-cheat systems don’t function completely autonomously, and there is always a human in the loop through the appeals process to ensure we are deploying sanctions fairly.” Embark said its detection combines Denuvo protection, Anybrain detections, and in-house machine-learning models, with suspicious behavior analyzed to build confidence before action. The company does not publish all detection details.

That update also described permanent bans as standard for known cheat programs and said Embark had broadened game-license restrictions and restrictions on accounts associated with banned game copies. It described hardware bans for systems with sufficient evidence of cheating. These statements explain Embark’s stated enforcement approach; they do not verify the cause of the January complaints.

Embark reported that, five days after it began keeping known queue-teaming groups apart in matchmaking, it observed 85% fewer players engaging in queue teaming. It also said spoiled raids fell from around 1 in 50 to 1 in 300, with no meaningful impact to queue times. Those developer-reported figures concern queue teaming and matchmaking—not ban accuracy or false-positive rates. No validated count or rate of false bans is established by the sources cited here.
