Raiders could also recover Skill Points missed during the first Expedition at 300,000 Stash value per missing point. Coins counted toward the second Expedition’s points first, then toward eligible first-Expedition catch-up points.
How much Stash value earns Skill Points in the second Expedition?
Embark set the second Expedition’s regular reward at five Skill Points for 3 million Coins of Stash value, an effective rate of 600,000 per point. The ARC Raiders team said it lowered the requirement after player feedback that the previous maximum-reward threshold was too high. Embark’s February 5, 2026 announcement gives the figures and explains the change.
| Skill Point category | Second-Expedition value | Who it applies to |
|---|---|---|
| Regular points | 600,000 Coins of Stash value per point; five points at 3 million | Points earned for the second Expedition |
| Catch-up points | 300,000 Coins of Stash value per missing point | Eligible Skill Points missed during the first Expedition |
These are separate rates for separate point categories. The 300,000 rate is not a general discount on the five regular points; it applies to missing first-Expedition points.
How Coins are applied, and who can use catch-up
Embark specified the allocation order: Coins contribute to Skill Points for the second Expedition first, then to missing Skill Points from the first. That means the five regular points take priority before eligible catch-up points are funded.

#1 Best Overall
The announcement describes catch-up for Raiders who could not amass enough Coins during the first Expedition. It does not establish that a player who skipped that Expedition qualifies, so do not assume skipped-cycle points can be recovered.
What an Expedition reset changes
An Expedition is a voluntary character reset, not a requirement to play. Embark’s Expedition Project overview, published October 9, 2025, says departing removes character-bound progress such as levels, skills, items and inventory, workshop, and crafting capabilities, while cosmetics, awards, achievements, and other metagame progress are retained. That overview explains the reset system; the February 2026 announcement specifies the second Expedition’s reward rates.

Are these costs fixed for future Expeditions?
No. Embark warned that future Expedition rewards and requirements may change, and that bonus Skill Points will not be available indefinitely to players who continue to depart. Treat 3 million for five regular points and 300,000 per eligible missed point as the announced second-Expedition rules, not a standing price for later cycles.
