No Server Slam progress carried over to the full game: Embark said character level and cosmetics would reset. The confirmed exception was the exclusive Server Slammer backpack, promised to participants on the Embark ID they used to play the test.
What carried over from the Server Slam?
Embark’s official Server Slam guide said that test progress would not transfer to the full game, naming character level and cosmetics as examples. That means your test character did not become your launch character. The guide does not itemize every inventory slot or account entitlement, so it is safest to treat test-earned progression as reset rather than assume a specific item was preserved.
What did participants keep?
The Server Slammer backpack
Embark promised participants the exclusive Server Slammer backpack for the full game. It was a participation reward, not a continuation of ordinary character progression.
The Embark ID mattered
The backpack was tied to the Embark ID used to play the Server Slam. If you played the test on a different Embark ID from the one you use now, do not assume the reward transferred between accounts; the official guide specifies the test account as the one associated with it.

Why was the Server Slam separate from launch?
The Server Slam ran October 17–19, 2025, ahead of ARC Raiders’ October 30 launch. Executive Producer Aleksander Grøndal described its goals as testing backend and matchmaking stability and giving new players a hands-on preview. Embark characterized it as a limited test rather than the complete game.
The event focused on Dam Battlegrounds and initial progression. Its guide listed basic and intermediate equipment, a limited Raider Deck page, basic crafting stations, selected quests, and special conditions. Advanced content was held back for launch; Expeditions, Trials, and the Codex appeared in the test world but were not active.

Embark’s announcement listed Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S as supported Server Slam platforms. Those event details explain the test’s scope; they do not change the reset rule.
