ARC Raiders’ Shrouded Sky update launched on February 24, 2026, as version 1.17.0. It brought the Hurricane map condition, Firefly and Comet ARC enemies, a limited-time Weather Monitoring System project, a free Surgeon Raider Deck, and changes to Dam Battlegrounds. Its project and Expedition dates have passed.
When did Shrouded Sky release?

What did the update add?
Hurricane map condition
Hurricane brings strong winds, flying debris, and reduced visibility to a raid. Headwinds slow Raiders, while wind affects thrown items and can alter what players hear. Embark also warns that debris can degrade shield protection and that shields used outdoors lose charge over time. The condition also unearthed First Wave Raider Caches, creating an additional reason to search the surface despite the harsher conditions. Firefly and Comet ARC enemies
Firefly is an armored flying ARC that attacks with a jet of flame and patrols alongside Hornets and Wasps. Comet is a spherical Pop variant that locks onto a Raider and explodes. These enemies add different threats to encounters: Firefly brings sustained flame pressure from the air, while Comet is an explosive target that can pursue a player.

Weather Monitoring System project
The limited-time project ran from February 24 through March 31, 2026. It had five stages, each with rewards, and required players to collect and contribute specified materials. Completing it awarded a Weather Monitoring System and a backpack charm. The project period has ended. Nexon’s announcement lists the schedule and reward structure.
Free Surgeon Raider Deck
The update added a free Surgeon Raider Deck. Players earned its rewards, including cosmetic progression, by spending Cred earned from Feats. Stubble became available immediately; the Full Beard was a Surgeon Deck unlock. Other facial-hair cosmetics were listed for the store, whose availability may change.

Dam Battlegrounds and Expedition
Dam Battlegrounds gained a high-security Controlled Access Zone designed as a high-value loot area.
The second Expedition application window opened February 25 and closed March 1, 2026, so it is not an upcoming opportunity. Nexon said Expedition participation reset a Raider’s level, skills, and inventory in exchange for benefits, and that the entry cost for this window was reduced from five million to three million coins. What changed in patch 1.17.0?
Beyond the headline additions, Embark’s notes record weapon balance adjustments, a Workbench change, Feat rerolls, an interactable piano, and bug fixes. These are version 1.17.0 changes; the notes do not establish whether later patches changed them.
- Weapon balance: Stitcher’s headshot multiplier fell from 2.5 to 1.75; Kettle’s base damage fell from 10 to 8.5; and Venator’s headshot multiplier fell from 2.5 to 2. Embark also adjusted Jupiter and Aphelion.
- Workbench: Energy Clip became available by default.
- Feats: Players could reroll Feats three times per day for free. Embark’s patch notes state, “Feats can now be rerolled three times per day for free.”
- PvP Feats: Removed in this patch.
- Other additions: An interactable piano and a broad set of bug fixes.
