For most ARC Raiders players, start with Marathon Runner and Youthful Lungs to improve travel and stamina, then choose skills around your main goal: fighting, looting quietly, or moving quickly. There is no single best build for everyone; the right route depends on how much you value combat readiness, loot access, stealth, and travel efficiency.
What the three skill branches do
The skill tree is divided into Conditioning, Mobility, and Survival. The guides describe Conditioning as covering weight, stamina, and breaching utility; Mobility as movement and stamina; and Survival as looting and survival utility. Their specific build suggestions are guide authors’ recommendations, not official balance rankings.
- Conditioning: useful when shield weight, stamina in fights, or breaching utility matters to you.
- Mobility: a natural early focus if you want to travel efficiently, maintain stamina, and reposition.
- Survival: the branch to consider for looting, carrying loot, and accessing secured containers.
Best skills to consider first
Marathon Runner and Youthful Lungs
Both the exact-title guide and Gamepur’s recommendations emphasize these Mobility skills. Marathon Runner is associated with stamina use while moving, while Youthful Lungs increases maximum stamina. Together, they form a practical starting direction for players who want more efficient movement, whether they are rotating through the map or trying to reposition in a fight. Used to the Weight
The guides associate Used to the Weight with shield encumbrance. Consider it if a loaded or shielded setup makes movement feel costly, especially if you expect to fight rather than avoid contact. It appears in both the PvP and stealth-loot routes in the exact-title guide.
#1 Best Overall
- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Carry the Momentum and Effortless Rolls
These Mobility picks appear in the exact-title guide’s combat and fast-mobility recommendations. They suit players who want to keep moving and use movement options effectively while repositioning. Choose them as part of a movement-focused plan rather than assuming they are mandatory for every build.
Looter’s Instincts and Silent Scavenger
Looter’s Instincts is included in both the combat and stealth-loot suggestions, making it relevant to players who want looting utility without committing to a purely quiet route. Silent Scavenger is the more explicitly stealth-oriented pick: the guide recommends it for players trying to loot with less noise and avoid drawing attention.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Choose a route for your playstyle
| Route | Suggested skills | What it prioritizes | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| PvP and fighting | Used to the Weight, Fight or Flight, Marathon Runner, Youthful Lungs, Carry the Momentum, Effortless Rolls, Looter’s Instincts | Stamina availability, shield-weight penalties, and the ability to reposition during combat. | This is a combat-oriented recommendation, not a guarantee of winning fights or an objectively strongest build. |
| Stealth looting | Silent Scavenger, Looter’s Instincts, Broad Shoulders, Looter’s Luck, Marathon Runner, Youthful Lungs, Used to the Weight | Quieter looting, carrying capacity, loot efficiency, and stamina for travel. | The guide describes it as faster and quieter, but less forgiving if you are caught. |
| Fast mobility | Marathon Runner, Youthful Lungs, Carry the Momentum, Effortless Rolls, Heroic Leap, Revitalizing Squat, Used to the Weight | Speed, stamina efficiency, and positioning over direct fighting. | It depends on using movement and positioning well rather than prioritizing combat. |
These lists come from Itemku’s playstyle builds; treat them as routes to adapt, not fixed prescriptions. If you mostly fight, lean toward the combat list. If your priority is extracting loot while avoiding other players, favor the stealth picks. If covering ground efficiently matters most, build around the Mobility combination.
A broad progression route
Gamepur recommends starting in Mobility, moving into Survival to reach Security Breach, and finishing with Conditioning. That sequence makes sense if movement is an early priority and secured-container access matters later, but it is one guide author’s route rather than an official progression order.

Gamepur’s proposed build allocates 21 points to Conditioning, 17 to Mobility, and 37 to Survival. Those figures describe that guide’s specific 75-point proposal, not a verified current cap, required distribution, or performance-tested optimal build. Use the branch order as a planning idea and adjust it to your priorities.

The two cited guides conflict on how skill points are earned: Itemku says they are earned each run, while Gamepur’s October 30, 2025 guide says players receive one point per Raider Level and describes a maximum of 75. Because neither cited account establishes the current official rule, do not rely on either description for present-day planning. Check the current in-game skill tree or official ARC Raiders documentation before making decisions that depend on the point supply, cap, or reset procedure.
