The Spaceport Trench Tower Key opens either the North or South Trench Tower on the east side of The Trench, in the northern part of Spaceport. Where to use the Spaceport Trench Tower Key
Look for the North and South Trench Towers along the east side of The Trench. They are close together. Use the key on an entrance to either tower; do not confuse it with the separate Spaceport Control Tower Key.
After entering a tower, you can open its other locked doors from inside. The key does not give you access to both towers: bring another key if you want to enter the second one.
How to get the key
The key is reported as random container loot and can appear on any map; it does not have a fixed spawn at the towers. Check ordinary small containers such as drawers, filing cabinets, lockers, and toolboxes. A Celeste questline reward and looting another player are also reported ways to obtain it. North or South Trench Tower?
If you have one key, both reviewed guides favor the South Tower. These are reported room-loot categories, not guaranteed drops for every raid.

Approach and risk
The route to a tower is not guaranteed to be safe. The guides describe stairs down to tunnels, stairs to an upper landing, and a zipline route. The tunnels may offer a quieter approach when the surface is contested, while platforms and ziplines can leave you exposed. Watch for a Rocketeer patrolling the airspace, and consider your time, carrying space, nearby threats, and escape options before committing.
