ARC Raiders Update 1.3.0, released November 20, 2025, reduced the fully upgraded Venator’s fire-rate bonuses and increased its weight, adjusted explosive damage against ARC, changed several item values and crafting recipes, and fixed map, enemy, audio, and crash issues. This is a historical account of that patch—not a description of the current update or balance state.
What changed in ARC Raiders update 1.3.0?
Embark published Update 1.3.0 one week after players stepped into Stella Montis. The patch combined balance and economy adjustments with fixes across four maps and several technical issues. The official Patch Notes 1.3.0 are the source for the changes below; Embark’s news index includes later posts, so 1.3.0 should not be treated as the latest patch.
What was the Venator nerf?
The upgrade-based fire-rate bonuses were lowered, and the pistol’s weight increased. Embark said the fully upgraded Venator had been “over-performing recently, capable of outgunning full squads using close range weapons.” Its stated aim was to slow the weapon’s pace while preserving its damage and accuracy.
| Stat | Before Update 1.3.0 | After Update 1.3.0 |
|---|---|---|
| Upgrade fire-rate bonuses | 22% / 44% / 60% | 13% / 26% / 40% |
| Weight | 2 | 5 |
| Damage and accuracy | Embark said these were preserved by this adjustment. | |
The patch notes do not report measured player outcomes or establish how the Venator ranks in the game today.

How did Update 1.3.0 change explosives and ARC damage?
Embark adjusted explosive damage because attacks had been affecting more ARC parts at once than intended. The change made damage more consistent across ARC enemies: small targets such as Turrets were largely unaffected, while larger enemies such as Bastions would typically take somewhat less damage. Hullcracker damage was also rebalanced, requiring more precise hits while retaining strong damage to the targeted spot.

What maps changed in the 1.3.0 patch?
Map fixes addressed stuck positions, collision and wall access, shots blocked by a prop, spawn placement, and shots passing through walls.
- Dam Battlegrounds: Fixed players getting stuck in the Dam Control Tower elevator shaft.
- Spaceport: Added collision to staircase walls and the ceiling in the Hidden Bunker. Fixed entry through a wall near the Launch Tower ramp and access to the locked Control Tower room without a key.
- Blue Gate: Fixed railing props that incorrectly blocked bullets; shots now pass through as intended.
- Stella Montis: Fixed collision near the Train Station that could make players fall through terrain, a location where players could get stuck, two spawns placed too close to ARC spawn areas, and missing visibility collision in Business Center walls that allowed shots to pass through.
A separate general fix prevents barricades from being placed overlapping a character, addressing clipping through walls and entry into locked rooms.

What ARC, audio, weapon, and movement fixes were included?

- Audio: Reduced volume attenuation for explosion tinnitus and concussion effects to improve clarity.
- Movement: Improved enemy ground detection on steep surfaces to reduce erratic movement on angled terrain.
- Aphelion: Fixed tracers that were excessively bright at a distance and increased blueprint drop rates.

What other bugs did ARC Raiders 1.3.0 fix?
- Fixed Raider Voice (proximity chat) crashing on PCs without AVX2 support.
- Fixed a crash when surrendering after reconnecting to a session.
- Removed invisible collisions left after scavenging Shredder parts.
- Fixed an outdated Trials rank display after the weekly rollover.
- Updated the recommended AMD graphics driver to version 25.11.1 to reduce recent AMD GPU crash issues. This was the driver version named in the November 2025 notes, not a statement about which driver is suitable today.
The notes also included the playful line, “Your Raider Den has been ducked out.”
