Start your search at the lower Loading Bay on Stella Montis or at Marano Park in Buried City. Bastions patrol an area rather than standing at one fixed point, so check nearby routes if one is not immediately visible. These are reported search zones, not guaranteed spawns in every run.

How to search a patrol area
A named location is a starting zone, not a promise that a Bastion will be there in a particular run. Sweep the nearby paths and listen for its minigun; Shacknews notes that the sound can carry across the map. Following it may also lead you into other raiders, so use cover and consider your route before closing in.

Choose a search area with both navigation and exposure in mind. The sources call out cover near Control Tower A6 on Spaceport and warn of dangerous player encounters around Loading Bay on Stella Montis. In Buried City and Dam Battlegrounds, the reported areas cover multiple nearby landmarks, so familiarity with the terrain can help you search efficiently.

How to fight a Bastion once you find it
Stay behind solid cover, especially after it detects you. The community-maintained ARC Raiders Wiki describes a warning screech followed by a three-second gatling-gun burst aimed toward the Raider’s last seen position. Do not remain exposed while it fires.

- Confirm what you are facing: PC Gamer cautions that a Bombardier can be mistaken for a Bastion and suggests nearby spotter Arcs may help distinguish them. Treat that as guide advice, not an official identification rule.
What is known about Bastion stats
The community-maintained ARC Raiders Wiki lists the Bastion at 2,050 health and awards 500 XP for destroying it. These are community-reported game values, not figures confirmed in official documentation. No verified spawn count is established by the location sources.
