For Tian Wen’s Marked for Death quest, search the outside of Su Durante Warehouses in Buried City, open the cache, then investigate the nearby metal clue. The cache is on the warehouse exterior—not inside—and the quest is reported to complete without a successful extraction.
How to find Tian Wen’s cache
- Travel to Su Durante Warehouses in Buried City. This is the destination for the Marked for Death objective.
- Search the warehouse exterior. Check the west side first; a yellow-marked breach-and-search crate is reported there. The cache is outside, so there is no need to search the building interior first. PC Gamer’s walkthrough and All Things How’s guide both place it outside the warehouse.
- Interact with the cache. The objective then changes to following the clues.
- Follow the nearby clue to the metal object. Look toward the trees for a piece of metal protruding from the sand, then investigate it to complete the quest.
Do you need to extract?
No successful extraction is required to complete the objective, according to All Things How. After investigating the metal clue, you can choose whether to continue the raid or leave; the quest completion does not depend on extracting successfully.

If the cache or clue is hard to spot
- Confirm that the active objective is Tian Wen’s Marked for Death quest and that you are at Su Durante Warehouses in Buried City.
- Search the outer wall, prioritizing the west side, rather than moving through the interior.
- Interact with the cache before looking for the metal clue; the next objective follows that interaction.
