There isn’t enough verified information here to say whether Call of Duty servers are down right now. Check Activision’s live status for your specific game, then check your platform’s network status if the game service shows no issue.
Check the status of your Call of Duty game
- Open Activision’s Online Services page.
- Select the Call of Duty title you’re playing and use the page’s refresh control to check its current status.
- Read any notice for that game and follow its linked updates. A reported issue for one title does not establish that every Call of Duty game is affected.
Activision’s page is the official starting point, but its status can change. The available information does not confirm a live outage for a specific game, platform, or region, so rely on the current notice rather than assuming services are up or down.
Check your platform’s network separately
A Call of Duty service and the network for your console or PC platform are separate checks. Activision links to platform status pages, including Xbox, PlayStation Network (PSN), Battle.net, Nintendo, Steam, and Epic Games. Open the service for the platform you use; an issue there may affect connection even when the selected game service shows no relevant problem.
If both status pages appear online
If Activision shows no relevant issue and your platform reports online, try the connection steps listed on the selected game’s support page:
#1 Best Overall
- BONUS 2X OFFER — Purchase Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 at Amazon and receive 5 hours of Double XP.**
- PRE-ORDER BONUS — Pre-order and unlock the Hunter Killer Operator Skin and the Gilded Pearl Camo Pack.*
- GLOBE‑SPANNING CAMPAIGN — Fight across the Korean Peninsula, New York, Paris, and Mumbai in a high‑stakes narrative where global conflict escalates and survival depends on tactical precision.
- MULTIPLAYER BUILT ON CONTROL — Engage in grounded, precise combat where fluid movement, player choice, and refined mechanics give you greater control in every firefight.
- TACTICAL DMZ OPERATIONS — Deploy behind enemy lines as an off‑the‑books asset, making high‑risk decisions on objectives and extraction in a dynamic mode where every run counts.
- Restart your router.
- Try a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi.
- Check your connection speed.
- Limit other applications using substantial bandwidth.
These steps can help investigate a local connection problem, but they do not prove that the cause is on your end. A wired connection cannot fix an outage on Activision’s service.
Report a problem that is not listed
If you still cannot connect and no listed event matches your issue, use the outage-reporting flow on Activision’s Online Services page. It asks you to check the status page and Activision’s social feed, and can collect details such as your game, platform, connection type, location, and ISP. Follow Activision’s official updates for any reported outage.
