There is no confirmed evidence here of an October 2026 mass wipe. Battlestate Games acknowledged a specific PvE/PvP progress issue on June 3, 2026, and said it was working to restore affected accounts. A later individual report describes missing progress, but does not establish a widespread incident. Scheduled maintenance is not evidence of a wipe.
What Battlestate Games confirmed
In a June 3, 2026 statement titled “Statement on Account Reset Issue,” Battlestate Games said a technical issue had reset progress on some players’ PvE accounts or transferred PvP profile progress into PvE. The developer wrote: “We are actively working to restore progress for all accounts affected by this issue.” Read the statement on Steam Community.
That statement covers the issue described in it. It is not a general guarantee that progress will be restored in response to later reports, nor does it establish that a current mass wipe is underway.
Does the evidence show a mass wipe in October 2026?
No. A Reddit post published October 2 describes one player’s allegation that both PvE and PvP progress disappeared after a September 15 incident, along with the author’s account of contacting support. It does not establish how many players were affected or what caused the loss. Read the individual report.

The reviewed sources provide no independently attributable count or percentage of accounts affected by an October mass wipe. “En masse” is therefore unverified, as is any proposed cause. A player’s report can be important evidence of their own experience, but it cannot by itself establish a broader incident.

A community post dated October 5 reproduces a notice for planned patch maintenance on October 6, describing temporary downtime for the game and account center. If your progress is missing
- Record what changed. Note whether the missing progress is in PvE, PvP, or both; when you last saw it; when you noticed the change; and whether you can still access your account. Keep observations separate from guesses about the cause.
- Contact Battlestate Games through its official support and Account Center channels. Include the details above and preserve the support correspondence. Do not assume the June restoration statement applies to a different incident.
- Secure your account. Battlestate Games recommends authenticator-app two-factor authentication through the Account Center. Its official channel states: “Administrators, moderators, and support staff of Battlestate Games will never ask for your account credentials.” Do not share credentials or use unofficial recovery links. How to interpret reports and updates
- Progress reset: progress is missing or changed within a mode, while the account may remain accessible.
- Account access problem: you cannot sign in; that is not, on its own, proof that profile progress was wiped.
- Temporary maintenance: the game or Account Center is unavailable during announced downtime; that does not establish a reset.
- Confirmed incident: look for a dated statement from Battlestate Games that describes the affected modes and issue. Treat an individual report as evidence of that person’s experience, not as a measure of scale.
