Not according to the public announcements reviewed. Paramount launched Paramount Games Studio in June 2026 to unite Paramount’s and Skydance’s game teams. Paramount completed its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) on October 6, 2026, but the closing announcement did not say Warner Bros. Games had joined that studio. The deal is complete; a Warner Bros. Games integration into Paramount Games Studio has not been publicly confirmed in these announcements.
What Paramount Games Studio includes
On June 5, 2026, Paramount announced a unified games studio combining Paramount and Skydance gaming teams. The announcement named Skydance Interactive and Skydance New Media, and appointed Tony Driscoll president and Dan Prigg EVP, Head of Games. Paramount’s announcement described games as a core pillar of its content strategy.
A June 18 studio introduction also named Skydance Games alongside Skydance Interactive and Skydance New Media. Paramount’s Paramount Games overview and Skydance’s Paramount Games brand page describe the initiative as bringing Paramount and those Skydance teams together.
What the WBD acquisition changes—and what it doesn’t confirm
Paramount and WBD announced a definitive merger agreement on February 27, 2026. That announcement described the proposed combined entertainment company and its franchises, but did not establish a plan to merge the companies’ game divisions. The merger-agreement announcement is distinct from the later games-studio announcement.

On September 30, the companies said the acquisition was expected to close October 6 and identified Warner Bros. Games among WBD’s businesses. The closing-timetable release establishes that Warner Bros. Games was part of WBD’s portfolio; it does not say the studio would be folded into Paramount Games Studio.
Paramount announced that the WBD acquisition was complete on October 6, 2026. The completion announcement discusses integration risks generally, but does not specify a new reporting structure for Warner Bros. Games. That means the acquisition is confirmed, while a games-division merger under Paramount Games Studio is not confirmed in these public statements. The sources do not rule out internal planning or a later announcement.
What the studios have announced
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin
Paramount Games announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin, an AAA action-adventure game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Paramount Games for consoles and PC. The company says it is based on the comic series. Its announcement also mentioned limited-edition apparel, collectible poster art and a 10-page preview of the comic prequel, The Last Ronin: Training Day. These are related comic and merchandise items, not the game itself. See Paramount Games’ announcement for the project details.
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game
Paramount’s materials also identify Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, set in the worlds of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. The studio introduction names Gameplay Group International and PM Studios as partners; Paramount’s June announcement says it was being made with Paramount and Avatar Studios. The dates presented in those announcements are historical, so check current platform listings for present availability or release status. Paramount Games’ overview describes the studio’s projects.

What to watch for in a future announcement
If Paramount announces a Warner Bros. Games reorganization, the useful details will be more specific than whether the studios are “under” the same owner. Look for whether Warner Bros. Games retains its name and leadership, how development and publishing responsibilities are assigned, and what happens to existing projects and licenses. Until those details are announced, describing the divisions as merged would go beyond what the cited company statements establish.
