When is the Pokémon Fossil Museum coming to Denver?
The exhibition opens to the public on Friday, May 28, 2027, at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Denver is part of the exhibition’s North American tour, which launched at Chicago’s Field Museum. The Denver announcement does not give a closing date.
How do I get tickets?
Denver tickets are not available yet, and the museum has not announced an on-sale date or admission price. Visitors can join the museum’s interest list for exclusive presale access before general public sales. Ticket details may change as the opening approaches, so check the museum’s exhibit page for current information.
What will I see at the Pokémon Fossil Museum?
The exhibition puts Fossil Pokémon from the video game series alongside ancient life forms known through real-world fossils. Visitors can see real fossils and specimen casts—including a cast of the SUE T. rex skull—alongside Pokémon such as Tyrantrum. Sculptures and comparisons between specimens help explore how fossils are found and studied in both the Pokémon world and real life.

The Field Museum’s May 2026 announcement for its Chicago presentation listed merchandise such as an Excavator Pikachu plush, key chains, tote bags, Pokémon TCG accessories, stickers, and clothing. It also said many items were available through Pokémon Center in the U.S. at the time. That does not confirm what the Denver museum shop will carry.
