To complete Three Swords of Mastery, find Tin Ingot at the Bureau of Swordmancers in Wuling City, raise the surrounding sword pells by copying their light patterns with dive attacks on pressure plates, then raise the central pell and return to Tin Ingot. The story prerequisite, second-pell pattern, and reward list differ between published guides, so use the quest tracker and your completion screen to confirm your game’s requirements and results.
Where to find Three Swords of Mastery
The quest takes place at the Bureau of Swordmancers in Wuling City. Tin Ingot is east of the Bureau; speak with them to start the quest. Game8 and PowerPyx both locate the quest there.
Unlock condition: check your quest tracker
Guides report different prerequisites. Game8 says to complete The Way of Water Chapter 2 – Process 2; PowerPyx lists main mission 35, Of Grace and Gentle Might. The available reports do not establish whether these refer to the same progression gate or different versions. After advancing the story, check the Wuling City map and quest tracker for the quest.
How to solve the pell pressure-plate puzzles
Activate a nearby sword pell to see its light sequence. Memorize the order, then perform dive attacks on the corresponding pressure plates. If a pattern fails, the video-guide description says to interact with the pell again to retry. Use the displayed lights and the physical plate layout as your guide: directional labels in walkthroughs may not match your camera orientation.
First pell
Hit the plates in this order: right, middle, left. PowerPyx labels the same reported sequence north, middle, south. When the pell rises, return to Tin Ingot for the next instruction.
Second pell
Follow the opened route and use the jump pad to reach the next pell. The reported instructions conflict: PowerPyx gives a four-plate sequence—southeast, northwest, northeast, southwest—while Games Fuze describes five inputs, including a plate hidden behind a shelf. Because the reports disagree about both the number of inputs and the sequence, watch the in-game lights and inspect behind the shelf rather than relying on either directional list as definitive.

Third pell
PowerPyx reports five inputs: southeast, northeast, southwest, west (behind a shelf), then northwest. Games Fuze describes the plate positions using a different relative layout, and the directional labels are not fully corroborated. Copy the displayed pattern and check that the quest tracker advances.
Central pell
Two guides report the same ten-input order, despite using differing orientation labels. In right/left and compass terms, the reported sequence is:
- Right (east)
- Bottom (south)
- Left (west)
- Bottom (south)
- Right (east)
- Left (west)
- Bottom (south)
- Right (east)
- Bottom (south)
- Left (west)
Use the in-game lights to map these positions to the plates in front of you.
How to finish the quest
Once the central pell rises, return to Tin Ingot and speak with them to complete Three Swords of Mastery.
