The “Arma Reforger 1.5 teasers” were a mix of community interpretations and features later documented in an experimental build. Bohemia Interactive’s 7 August 2025 1.5.0.18 Experimental Update confirms what that build contained; it does not confirm every feature players inferred from teaser clues. The build was not a stability-guaranteed main release, and the 1.5 cycle is now historical.
What was Arma Reforger 1.5.0.18?
It was an Experimental build released on 7 August 2025, available exclusively through Steam Experimental. Bohemia described it as unfinished, saying, “It is still very much a work in progress, and we cannot guarantee stability.” The studio withheld this build from Xbox because its increased crash rate could jeopardize the Experimental application’s availability there.
Bohemia said Experimental releases are used to collect player feedback, give modders a chance to prepare for updates, and deliver changes more fluidly. Those purposes do not make an Experimental changelog a promise about what will ship in a stable release.

- Grenades and water: impact effects when grenades hit water, plus underwater grenade simulation and splash effects.
- Damage effects: a new explosion damage effect that could cause characters to bleed after critical damage.
- Testing tools: an Autotest Framework for creating scripted tests, along with “Run test” tools in the Script Editor and World Editor.
- Gameplay and fixes: adjusted AP mine damage and fixes involving vehicles, flares, combat operations, the user interface, AI resupply, and other issues.
These are confirmed features of the 1.5.0.18 Experimental changelog—not proof that every item was included unchanged in a later stable version. Check the relevant official release notes for the status of a particular feature.
Which 1.5 teaser claims were speculative?
Community discussions used phrases such as “confirmed features list” and “possible teasers,” while also warning that interpretations were not absolute. Those posts show what players were trying to infer; they are not developer confirmation. The original teaser media cannot be reliably matched to every specific claim here, so individual community predictions should be treated as unconfirmed unless an official changelog, roadmap status, or developer announcement backs them.

Bohemia’s Arma Reforger Roadmap explains its status colors: green means completed and available in the game, white means planned or in progress, and yellow means available in Arma Reforger Experimental. The roadmap page was last updated on 30 October 2025, so it is a dated snapshot rather than a live statement of current availability.
For historical context, the discussions included “Major Update 1.5, updated confirmed features list” and “[WARNING: UPDATE TEASERS] 1.5 Update Confirmed/Speculative Updates.” Their titles and cautionary wording should not be mistaken for official confirmation.

Why did the version number move from 1.5?
The Bohemia Interactive Community Wiki’s Arma Reforger Update History search-result text says that “Version 1.5.x was skipped and made part of 1.6.x update.” The page itself was unavailable for verification, so the supported takeaway is limited to that numbering note; no reason for the change is established here.

No. The official Arma Reforger News index, reviewed on 5 October 2026, listed 1.9 Experimental updates dated 15, 18, and 22 September 2026. That makes 1.5 historical coverage, not a forthcoming update announcement. For current feature status, use the latest official news and changelogs rather than older teaser threads.

If you want to play the game, the official Arma Reforger page lists PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 5. Arma Reforger 1.5 was an update to the game, not a separate title.
