Artorias of the Abyss is downloadable content for Dark Souls. The simplest current-edition route is Dark Souls Remastered, which Bandai Namco says includes both the main game and the DLC. What is Artorias of the Abyss?
Artorias of the Abyss is additional content for Dark Souls. It was also included in the 2012 Dark Souls with Artorias of the Abyss Edition, described by FromSoftware as the original game plus the additional content.

Which edition includes the DLC?
Dark Souls Remastered
Bandai Namco explicitly states that Dark Souls Remastered includes the main game and Artorias of the Abyss DLC. The publisher lists Remastered for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. This is the most straightforward edition to look for if you want the game and its additional content together. Bandai Namco’s product page lists physical and digital formats, but does not guarantee that a particular format is currently available in your region.
The 2012 edition
FromSoftware’s Dark Souls with Artorias of the Abyss Edition was listed for PlayStation 3 and Windows, with a release date of 25 October 2012. Those are historical platform and release details, not confirmation that the legacy edition is currently sold or compatible with newer consoles. Bandai Namco describes Remastered as presenting Lordran in high-definition detail and lists online multiplayer for up to six players. PlayStation’s listing likewise states support for up to six online players and identifies online play as optional. - You already own a compatible version of Dark Souls: Check the DLC and edition details for that exact platform and region before buying another copy.
