What kind of game is As Dusk Falls?
Developed by INTERIOR NIGHT and published by Xbox Game Studios, As Dusk Falls follows two families whose lives collide during a pivotal night. It is a narrative-first interactive drama: you make dialogue and action choices, inspect points of interest, and respond to quick-time events rather than spending most of your time mastering combat or exploring a large world.
The central appeal is seeing how characters and relationships change as a result of your decisions. GameSpot reviewer Mark Delaney praised the writing and voice performances, calling the game a standout among narrative adventures. How does it play, and how much gameplay is there?

Is As Dusk Falls multiplayer?
Yes. Up to eight people can take part in local or online play, voting on story choices. The most-voted option generally wins; ties are resolved randomly, and the game provides limited ways to override a group decision. Playing with the companion app
A phone or tablet can act as an input device through the companion app, but it does not stream or run the full game. It must connect to a host PC or console on the same local network. Playing with a Twitch audience
Broadcast Mode lets viewers vote on story outcomes through chat. The streamer can override votes and handles the quick-time events. The official FAQ says Broadcast Mode supports local co-op but not online multiplayer. (official FAQ)

What accessibility options are available?
The official FAQ lists a substantial range of settings, including menu and gameplay narration, text-to-speech for player chat, speech-to-text for voice chat, adjustable choice timers, subtitle and caption controls, and simplified quick-time-event inputs. Players can also change choice colors and backgrounds, use lowercase UI text, and adjust hotspot display settings. (official FAQ)
In a 2024 developer retrospective, INTERIOR/NIGHT designers May Wong and Aoife Gleeson described PlayStation-port work for blind and low-sighted players.
