Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood PC system requirements
These are the historical requirements published on the Steam store listing, not modern performance benchmarks. The processor, memory and graphics figures describe the game’s published minimum and recommended specifications; they do not predict a particular frame rate on a current PC.

How to compare your PC
Check your processor model, installed RAM, graphics card and available storage against the minimum column. The named supported graphics families on Steam are ATI Radeon HD 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000 series, and NVIDIA GeForce 8, 9, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 series. Those are historical examples from the listing, not a complete inventory of newer GPUs.
Steam specifies DirectX 9.0 for the requirements. PCGamingWiki records Direct3D 9.0c for the game; that technical detail is not evidence that every modern Windows and graphics configuration will work without issue. Neither source provides current-PC benchmark results, so there is no supported basis here for a promised frame rate.

Controller setup on PC
Steam marks the controller as optional and recommends the Xbox 360 Controller for Windows. The game-specific PCGamingWiki entry lists Windows controller support as XInput-only. In practice, that makes XInput support the key compatibility feature to check when choosing a controller; do not assume every gamepad will be recognized natively.
- Connect or pair a Windows-compatible controller that supports XInput.
- Start Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and check whether the game recognizes its controls.
- If it is not recognized, confirm the controller’s model supports XInput and that Windows has connected it. The available sources do not establish a universal menu path or a tested workaround for non-XInput devices.
The connection-and-check sequence is practical guidance based on the listed input support, not a verified menu-by-menu procedure. Button prompts and behavior can vary by controller; the sources do not confirm support for every model.

Windows and account notes
Steam’s listing says: “Starting January 1st, 2024, the Steam Client will only support Windows 10 and later versions.” This is a statement about the Steam client, not a guarantee that Brotherhood itself runs flawlessly on every Windows 10 or later setup. The game’s published operating-system requirements remain the older XP/Vista-era specifications shown above.
The Steam listing says a Uplay account is required. Ubisoft’s regional PC product page says a PC purchase is automatically added to the Ubisoft Connect for PC library for download. Store availability and account flows may vary by region or change, so check the relevant storefront’s current product page for the terms that apply to your purchase.
