The company listed it as addressed in Title Update 1.2.2, published June 15, 2021. That confirms a historical notification bug, but it does not establish whether similar messages still occur on current versions or whether every repeated message has the same cause.
What Ubisoft confirmed
Ubisoft’s Title Update 1.2.2 notes state: “Addressed an issue that caused a "Bonus Content Unlocked" message to appear when the game autosaved.” The note identifies the trigger as autosaving and says the issue was addressed in that update. It does not say that the notification granted or removed an item, nor does it confirm that all similar reports had the same cause.
Does the message mean you unlocked something?
Not by itself. Ubisoft’s note describes a message appearing; it does not describe a change to inventory or entitlements. Check the relevant inventory or bonus-content area in your game if you want to verify whether anything actually changed. The notification alone is not proof of a new unlock.
Why might it keep appearing?
Older player discussions describe the message recurring at other moments, such as when starting or unpausing the game or returning from menus. Those reports do not establish the cause, and they do not show that the autosave issue from Title Update 1.2.2 explains every recurrence. The available sources also do not establish whether the behavior remains on current versions or differs by platform.

Settings players have tried
Some players in older discussions suggested turning off pop-up notifications; another reported that disabling tips and messages in the interface options stopped the message. These are community-reported ideas, not an official or verified current fix. Menu labels and options may vary by platform or version, and the reports do not show that either setting works for every cause.
- Open the game’s settings and look for pop-up notification options.
- If the message continues, look in interface options for a setting related to tips and messages.
- Try changing one option at a time, then check whether the notification recurs during ordinary play.
Treat these as optional troubleshooting steps rather than a guaranteed solution. The older reports do not provide a confirmed path through current menus.

What to do if it continues
First check whether an item or entitlement actually changed rather than relying on the notification. If it keeps appearing, note when it happens—especially whether it coincides with autosaving—and record your platform and game version. That information can help distinguish a repeated visual message from a separate content or entitlement issue.
