If you have 14 of 15 Order Medallions in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, first check whether the Father is revealed and defeated and whether The Poor Fellow-Soldier appears in your quest log. Ubisoft addressed a missing-medallion issue in Title Update 1.6.1, but that patch note does not guarantee every save-state problem is fixed. If your progression is complete and the final medallion is still missing, try the Vinland-to-England travel workaround below; it has helped some players, but is not guaranteed.
Check whether the final Order target and quest are complete
- Open the Order screen. Check whether the Father is still unresolved or another target remains active. Defeating the other members does not by itself confirm that the final target is complete.
- Review the alliance map and quest log. Look for unfinished regional story progression and The Poor Fellow-Soldier. Archived Ubisoft community-support responses associate Hytham’s letter and this quest with late-game regional progression, but reports mention different regions, including Hamtunscire and Winchester. Check your own map and log rather than relying on one universal trigger. Source
- Confirm the final story step. If the Father has not been revealed or defeated, continue the relevant progression before treating the missing medallion as an inventory bug.
Install the latest update available for your platform
Ubisoft’s Title Update 1.6.1 notes list “Order Medallions missing after defeating members of the order” among the issues addressed. The update was published September 26, 2022, with deployment scheduled for supported platforms on September 27, 2022. This establishes that Ubisoft recognized the issue; it does not establish that every instance was resolved or provide a current save-recovery procedure.
Try the Vinland-to-England workaround if you still have 14
If the Father is defeated, the story quest is complete, and your game is updated, archived community-support guidance suggests fast-travelling to Vinland and then back to England. Check your inventory and try the Hytham turn-in again. Some players reported that this refreshed missing medallions, but it is a possible workaround—not a guaranteed fix. Source
If you can’t hand in the final Order Medallions
If the medallions are present but Hytham’s turn-in remains inactive, one player reported changing the graphics mode from framerate to quality and letting the game restart; replies also reported success. This is anecdotal and Ubisoft has not confirmed it as a fix. Treat it as an optional experiment, not a reliable troubleshooting step. Source

Contact Ubisoft support if the problem persists
If the progression checks and travel workaround do not help, contact Ubisoft support. Include your platform, installed game version, a screenshot of the Order screen, your quest log, and which regional story arcs and final Order steps you have completed. The available support material does not document a specific recovery procedure beyond the archived community guidance.
