Ubisoft acknowledged a Assassin’s Creed Valhalla skill-tree issue matching reports of players with 475 skill points assigned and one extra point they could not spend. The available official patch notes do not document a fix specifically for that 475/476 allocation problem, and there is no verified universal workaround.
What the 475/476 skill-point issue means
Players described having all 475 skill points assigned while one additional point remained unusable, or being unable to reach power level 476 because one skill-tree tile stayed empty. Those are examples of player reports, not proof that every affected save has the same cause.
Ubisoft forum support representative Ubi-Nacho responded to one report: “We can confirm that this is an issue with the skill tree at the moment, and our game team are currently collecting reports.” The historical response asked the player to provide a recent cloud save and a screenshot of the skill tree and points. It did not promise a repair. (Ubisoft forum response reproduced by DevTrackers)
Do not confuse it with the Shelter Vendor scroll bug
Ubisoft documented a separate skill-point problem in its April 19, 2022 Title Update 1.5.1 notes: a fix for players not receiving a skill point after buying a scroll of knowledge from a Shelter Vendor. That case is about a point not being granted after a particular purchase. The 475/476 report is about a point that is present or expected but cannot be assigned in the skill tree. The patch note does not say it fixed the allocation issue. (Ubisoft Title Update 1.5.1 notes)

Do official updates document a fix?
The reviewed later notes do not name the 475/476 allocation report as a fixed issue. Ubisoft’s February 20, 2023 Title Update 1.7.0 notes list other fixes, but not this one. That means these notes do not establish a specific fix; it does not prove the issue persists on every version or save. (Ubisoft Title Update 1.7.0 notes)
The timeline is historical: Ubisoft described Title Update 1.6.2 as the game’s final content update in December 2022, and its official game page lists Title Update 1.7.0 from February 2023. The available sources do not establish whether an individual player’s current save still has the allocation issue. (Ubisoft final content update announcement; official Valhalla page)

What to do if your save is affected
No universal workaround is verified for the 475/476 allocation problem. If it is happening in your game, collect the details support previously requested and make the report easy to assess:
- Record your platform and the game version shown by your game or platform.
- Make a manual save before trying anything that could alter the skill tree.
- Capture a clear screenshot showing the skill tree and the point counter.
- Contact Ubisoft Support and include those details; if requested, provide a recent cloud save.
These steps document the state of your save; they are not a confirmed repair. Ubisoft’s historical request for a cloud save and screenshot was for collecting reports, not a guarantee that support could restore the missing allocation.
