What the PS5 bundle offer involved
The reported Walmart offer paired a PS5 Slim with a Blu-ray drive and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. HotHardware said the marketplace seller was Antonline and Walmart handled fulfillment. A Walmart listing’s presence does not by itself establish who sells or ships an item now, so verify the seller and fulfillment details on the live product page.
The report also said Sony had raised PS5 prices in August and that the disc-drive PS5 Slim’s MSRP had risen from $499.99 to $549.99. Those are claims made in the December 2025 article; they do not establish current list pricing.

How to assess either deal today
The offers concern different kinds of products—a Windows-based gaming handheld and a home console bundle—so the old discount figures alone do not identify the better buy. Before ordering, compare the current checkout price and stock, confirm the exact hardware configuration and included game, and review the seller, fulfillment, returns, and warranty terms. The historical report does not establish any of those details as current.
