What games are included in Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack?
The digital bundle contains all three DX games: Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout DX, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy DX, and Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key DX. Nintendo’s US listing notes that the games are also sold separately, so compare what you already own before buying the pack. Nintendo’s US bundle listing identifies it as a digital product.
A trilogy built around one protagonist
Ryza remains the central character across all three games, an unusual degree of continuity for the Atelier series. The first game, released in 2019, follows Ryza and her friends as they discover alchemy and investigate the secrets of their island. Ryza 2 followed in 2020, reuniting the group three years later to explore mysterious ruins and gates to the Underworld. The 2023 finale, Ryza 3, brings the friends together again for an adventure connected to a new secret key. The third game is set about a year after the second, placing the trilogy’s final chapter roughly four years after the first game’s events. KOEI TECMO America’s series overview describes this as the first time an Atelier series followed the same protagonist across its games.
That connected timeline is the collection’s clearest strength. The games are separate adventures, but Ryza’s relationships and the passage of time give the trilogy a continuing arc that is easier to appreciate when played in order.

What is new in the DX versions?
DX is more than a bundle label. Across the collection, the publisher lists new playable characters, story episodes, costumes, quality-of-life improvements and Custom Combat, a mode that lets players choose the level and combination of monsters they face. The editions also gather content previously released as paid or free DLC, including costumes, maps and recipes. The additions differ by game:

KOEI TECMO says Yashichiro Takahashi, the Secret series scenario writer, wrote the new episodes. The publisher’s November 13, 2025 launch announcement describes the collection as reuniting players with “alchemist Reisalin Stout and her friends” across the three Secret series titles.

Save-data bonuses depend on your setup
The official site lists early-game items for players with qualifying original or DX save data, and its bonus chart includes equipment, currency and other benefits. Eligibility varies by game, platform, region, language match and save-data location. Check the chart for your exact setup before counting on a bonus. How do the games play as a trilogy?
The series combines exploration and alchemy-based item creation with party combat. Synthesis is central: combining materials and unlocking recipe effects gives players multiple ways to shape what they make. Combat changes pace over the series rather than staying identical from game to game.

In a review published December 30, 2025, Spanish outlet MeriStation characterizes the first game’s combat as more deliberate and tactical, while describing the sequels’ encounters as quicker. The review also praises the possibilities in synthesis and notes that later entries add progression conveniences. Which platform should you buy it on?
KOEI TECMO’s launch announcement lists digital releases for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC via Steam, available from November 13, 2025. Language support differs by game in the official European notice: the first and third DX entries list Japanese voices with English text, while the second lists Japanese voices with English and French text. Nintendo’s US listing likewise says French is available only for Ryza 2 DX. Storefronts and regional editions can differ, so confirm the language details on the listing for your country and platform before purchase. Switch and Switch 2 are separate editions
Nintendo warns that the Switch and Switch 2 editions have incompatible save data and additional content. The Switch version can be played on Switch 2, but buying it does not provide an upgrade to the separate Switch 2 edition. If you want the Switch 2 release, select that edition rather than assuming the Switch purchase can be converted later. Nintendo’s US listing gives the compatibility warning.
Bundle or individual games?
The bundle is convenient if you want all three DX games and own few or none of the originals. Since the games can also be purchased separately, check current prices in your region and account for any titles you already have before choosing. The official listings do not establish a lasting price advantage for the bundle. The collection is described as digital in the cited US and publisher launch listings; verify a region-specific listing and its language and compatibility details if you are considering a physical copy.

Verdict: a convenient complete edition with important platform caveats
The Deluxe Pack’s value rests on bringing Ryza’s full, connected arc together with meaningful additions: new playable characters and episodes, Custom Combat, quality-of-life improvements, and previously released DLC. It is an appealing starting point for newcomers who want the trilogy in story order, and a more substantial revisit for fans drawn to the new character material. KOEI TECMO America reported that the original Secret trilogy had sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide in 2025; that is the publisher’s cumulative figure, not an independently audited total. The collection is less automatic as a purchase if you already own some games or DLC, need French outside the second entry, or are deciding between Switch and Switch 2 editions.
