ATLUS pre-opened its official Persona 30th anniversary website on January 6, 2026, kicking off a year of planned celebrations. The anniversary marks 30 years since Revelations: Persona was released in 1996. The site is an ongoing hub for series updates, commemorative merchandise and events—not a game announcement page.
What Atlus announced
SEGA said on January 6 that ATLUS had pre-opened a special website for the series’ 30th anniversary and would roll out anniversary projects during the milestone period. The announcement also introduced an anniversary key visual by ATLUS designer Shigenori Soejima, featuring protagonists from across the series. SEGA’s launch announcement
The first “Persona 30th Goods & Events Information Bureau” program was scheduled for January 8, 2026, at 17:00. SEGA explicitly cautioned that the broadcast would contain no game-related announcements, so it should not be mistaken for a promised reveal of a new Persona game.
Why Persona’s 30th anniversary is in 2026
The anniversary is based on the 1996 release of Revelations: Persona. The official English anniversary page states, “With Revelations: Persona releasing in 1996, Persona officially turns 30 next year.” ATLUS’s Japanese anniversary site identifies 2026 as the milestone year. What’s on the anniversary site
The site is intended to keep growing beyond its opening. ATLUS describes it as a place for anniversary content, including events and goods. Its Japanese and English/Asia pages list merchandise and event information, with offerings that can include collaborations, in-person events and live shows. The pages serve different regional audiences, and a listing does not mean an item is available everywhere.
SEGA’s January 9 follow-up said the site was fully open and would be updated with the latest merchandise and event information. It also confirmed the broadcast was available and named a P30th key visual T-shirt as a giveaway prize; that does not establish that the shirt is offered for general retail sale.
