The latest official Atomic Heart patch identified in Steam’s announcement is 1.16.3.0, posted April 23, 2026. Its listed changes do not mention achievements, so the notes neither confirm an achievement-tracking fix in that patch nor establish that a general achievement bug persists. Mundfish’s earlier achievement guidance says the unlocking problem had been solved, while documenting a narrow old-save edge case and rare synchronization delays.
What the latest patch says about achievements
Steam’s announcement for Patch 1.16.3.0, posted April 23, 2026, lists changes involving Blood on Crystal DLC content, save-loading bugs, crashes, and other minor fixes. It does not mention achievements. That omission is not evidence that achievements were fixed or that they still fail to unlock; the announcement simply does not establish either outcome.

What Mundfish previously said about achievement problems
In guidance accompanying Patch 1.6.0.0, Mundfish said: “The problem with unlocking achievements has already been solved, but in some very rare cases, the following issues may occur:” The publisher noted that unlocking can be delayed on platforms that require an internet connection, and described a specific issue involving achievements earned entirely on saves from before or during the Day 1 patch. This is historical guidance from Patch 1.6.0.0, not a guarantee that every current achievement problem has the same cause.
Old-save edge case
For the documented pre-Day 1-patch and Day 1-patch save cases, Mundfish’s suggested workaround was to start a new game and perform the relevant achievement conditions again. The publisher also said starting a new game could trigger a recalculation for the all-achievements award. Because that advice concerns a particular historical save issue, it may not resolve a different problem with a current save or platform.

Possible synchronization delay
If an achievement’s conditions appear complete but the award has not appeared, a delay is possible on platforms that require an internet connection for unlocking, according to Mundfish’s guidance. The announcement does not specify a universal waiting period, so it does not support promising that an award will arrive after a particular number of minutes or hours.
Does the missing all-achievements award mean the issue persists?
A player post from March 2025 reports that “The Motherland Does Not Forget its Heroes” did not appear despite the player believing the base-game achievements were complete. That is an individual account, not proof of a widespread defect, and it predates Patch 1.16.3.0. It cannot establish whether the same issue occurs after the April 2026 patch.

- Exclusive Physical Version Bonus DLC: Swede Weapon Skin and Electro Weapon Skin
- A utopian world, both mad and sublime

- Upgrade your arsenal and equipment
Check that the relevant conditions are complete and allow for the possibility of a platform synchronization delay. If the case matches Mundfish’s documented old-save scenario, its historical workaround is to start a new game and re-execute the conditions. The available patch notes do not provide a newer achievement-specific fix or a universal remedy for missing awards.

Verify the game files
For Steam issues, Mundfish recommends checking the integrity of the game files. In Steam, open Library, right-click Atomic Heart, choose Properties, open Installed Files, and select Verify integrity of game files. Steam will check the installation and replace files it identifies as damaged or missing. This is a general file-integrity check, not a confirmed achievement-specific fix.
