Verdict: The Aurzen EAZZE D1 Pro is a compact, native-1080p LCD projector aimed at dark-room movie nights, console gaming and occasional outdoor use. Its 350 ANSI-lumen rating, built-in Netflix/Prime Video/YouTube apps, dual 10 W speakers and flexible front, rear or ceiling placement make it practical, but it is not a native-4K projector and its brightness is modest for rooms with daylight. Aurzen itself recommends a dark environment, and no independent measurements of input lag, contrast, fan noise, uniformity or app speed are published in the available specifications.
What the EAZZE D1 Pro actually is
The EAZZE D1 Pro is an LED-lit LCD projector with a native 1920×1080 (Full HD) panel. It accepts a 4K signal, but the image it displays remains 1920×1080; “4K support” describes input compatibility, not native 4K resolution. Aurzen lists HDR10 support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, two USB ports, AV input and an audio output on the product page. ProjectorCentral’s model listing identifies the same native resolution and records the model as released in September 2024.

That distinction matters for games. A 1080p console or PC output matches the panel without scaling down from 4K, while a 4K source is converted to the projector’s native pixel grid. You should therefore buy the D1 Pro for a large Full HD image, not for the fine detail of a true 4K home-theater projector.

Brightness: plan for a dark room
At 350 ANSI lumens, the D1 Pro is in the modest-brightness class for home projectors. Aurzen’s support guidance is explicit: “For the best viewing experience, we recommend using the projector in a dark environment. The darker the room, the better the image quality.” That is manufacturer guidance, not an independent daytime test, but it gives the right expectation. In a room with sunlight or strong overhead lighting, blacks and color saturation will look more washed out than they do after sunset or with the lights off.
For gaming, close curtains, turn off directly facing lamps and use a neutral wall or screen. Dark-room conditions help both shadow detail and perceived contrast. A portable screen can produce a more consistent surface than textured paint, but it cannot create brightness the projector does not have. The manufacturer’s promotional article discusses a 100–120-inch viewing range; treat that as a suggested use case rather than an independently verified optimum. At the upper end of the catalog’s 200-inch range, the same light output is spread over far more area, so the image will require especially dark surroundings.
There is no published independent measurement for daytime visibility, contrast, black level, color accuracy or HDR brightness. Do not interpret the 350-ANSI figure as a guarantee of a particular screen size in your room. ANSI lumens are a standardized rating, but real viewing depends on screen gain, wall color, ambient light and the selected image mode.
Resolution and HDR for games and movies
The 1920×1080 native panel is a sensible match for older and current consoles that offer a 1080p output mode, and for a gaming PC configured at that resolution. Text, HUD elements and fine interface details will be less crisp than on a 4K projector at the same size, but the D1 Pro avoids pretending that accepted 4K input equals 4K display.
HDR10 support means the projector can receive HDR10 metadata. The available documentation does not provide a measured HDR peak brightness, color-volume result or tone-mapping behavior. With only 350 ANSI lumens, HDR highlights cannot be assumed to have the impact they would on a bright television. If an HDR game looks dim or gray, try the console’s SDR output or adjust the game’s HDR calibration while keeping the room dark.

Input lag is not stated by Aurzen or ProjectorCentral, and no independent gaming test is identified. The D1 Pro can be considered for casual, couch and single-player gaming, but there is not enough evidence to promise a particular response time for competitive play. Check the projector’s game or image settings, if offered in the on-screen menu, and test your own controller before committing to tournament-style use.
Streaming: what works without extra hardware
Aurzen lists licensed built-in Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube apps, plus additional downloadable apps. App catalogs and licensing can change by region and over time, so verify that your preferred service appears on the projector at purchase. Built-in access means you can start with the projector and its remote rather than automatically adding a separate streaming box.

There is an important DRM limitation. Aurzen’s help center says protected content from Hulu, Disney+ and similar services cannot be wirelessly mirrored. Its documented workarounds are a TV stick, Chromecast or computer connected by an appropriate method. This does not mean every owner needs an external device: it matters when the service you want is unavailable as a native app or blocks wireless mirroring.
Android casting has a tutorial in Aurzen’s support materials, but sideloading Android apps is not supported. Do not plan on installing an arbitrary mobile APK to bypass the official app catalog. For the most predictable compatibility, connect a streaming device or laptop over HDMI and use that device’s approved app.

Throw distance, image size and placement
ProjectorCentral lists a 1.35:1 throw ratio and an image range of approximately 39.98 to 200 inches. Throw ratio is calculated as lens-to-screen distance divided by image width. For a 16:9 image, a 100-inch diagonal picture is about 87 inches wide; multiplying that width by 1.35 gives roughly 117 inches, or 9.8 feet, as a starting distance. This is a geometric estimate from the listed ratio, not a measured setup recommendation. Zoom range, focus travel and your exact screen dimensions can change the final position.

Keep the chassis square to the screen whenever possible instead of relying heavily on digital keystone correction. Angling a projector can make one side of the picture sharper or reduce effective resolution after correction.
The support documentation also warns that LCD edge sharpness may differ from center sharpness. Focus on the part of the image you value most, then check corners with small text before finalizing the mount. A slight difference between center and edge does not establish a defect, but severe blur after careful perpendicular placement is a reason to contact support.
Step-by-step setup
- Choose the surface and light level. Start with a flat white or light-gray wall or a screen in a room you can darken. For outdoor viewing, plan for after sunset and avoid assuming the projector is weatherproof; no weather-resistance rating is listed.
- Measure the intended image. Use the 1.35:1 throw ratio as a planning value and leave room to move the projector for focus. The catalog range is about 40 to 200 inches, but a smaller image can look more convincing in a room that is not fully dark.
- Place the projector perpendicular to the surface. Keep the lens centered or use only modest correction. Aurzen’s support guidance references a position about 7.9 feet away for its best-correction advice.
- Connect power and source devices. Use HDMI for a console, PC or external streaming device. USB ports, AV and audio out are available for compatible peripherals; check each device’s output and cable requirements.
- Focus the image. Display a menu or text-heavy screen, adjust focus, then inspect the center and corners. If the center is sharp but edges remain soft, reduce the image size or improve perpendicular alignment before increasing digital correction.
- Configure streaming. Sign in to the built-in Netflix, Prime Video or YouTube apps if they are available in your region. For a service blocked by wireless mirroring, connect a supported TV stick, Chromecast or computer over HDMI.
- Set up audio. The two 10 W speakers can keep the installation self-contained. Use the audio output or a compatible wireless solution if you need more volume or a wider soundstage; the documentation does not publish an external-speaker latency specification.
- Test your game before mounting permanently. Check controller response, picture mode, HDR behavior and any console resolution setting from your usual seating position. No published input-lag figure is available, so your own test is the appropriate final check.
Mounting and portability
The 4.4-pound chassis measures 9.84 × 7.01 × 3.74 inches. That is manageable for moving between a bedroom, living room and occasional backyard setup, although you should protect the lens and allow the projector’s ventilation openings to remain clear during transport and use.
Front, rear and ceiling installation are listed by Aurzen. Rear projection requires a suitable translucent screen or surface and enough space behind it; it is not automatically better than front projection. The 1/4-inch mounting screw opens the door to a tripod or ceiling mount, but thread size alone does not prove compatibility. Confirm the mount’s weight rating, screw length, tilt range and safety method before installing overhead.

Outdoor use: possible, with realistic limits
The D1 Pro can serve as a portable outdoor movie or game projector when the environment is dark and dry, power is available and the screen is stable. Its 350 ANSI lumens are better matched to nighttime than to dusk or a patio lit by nearby fixtures. A 100–120-inch portable screen is an optional approach mentioned in Aurzen’s promotional material; measure your available distance and remember that a wall may have texture or an unsuitable color.
No weatherproofing, dust-resistance or battery specification is listed. Keep the unit sheltered from moisture, dew and blowing debris, and bring it indoors after use. You will also need to account for an extension cord, source-device power and audio that can carry outdoors. These are setup requirements, not features guaranteed by the projector.

Two 10 W speakers are built in, which avoids making a soundbar mandatory for a simple movie or game night. The product page lists Bluetooth and an infrared remote, plus Wi-Fi for smart functions. Bluetooth behavior with specific headphones or speakers, including latency, is not documented in the available material, so verify your preferred accessory before relying on it for rhythm games or competitive play.
HDMI is the key connection for consoles, computers and external streaming hardware. Two USB ports and AV expand compatibility with older or local-media equipment, while the audio output can feed an external sound system. A search result previously showed a US price of $179.99 on sale against a $249.99 regular price. That crawl is stale and does not establish a current deal. Treat those figures as historical promotional information, not a price you should expect today. Check the live product page and the seller’s checkout terms for the actual total.
The English support center lists “EAZZE D1 Pro Manual-English V1.0” with a last-updated date of 2024/10/09. Firmware, app availability and commercial terms can change after that date, so consult the current help center if your unit’s menus differ.

It is most attractive when your room can be darkened and your seating benefits from a 40- to roughly 120-inch image.
Skip it if you need a bright living-room projector for daytime sports, native 4K detail, a verified low-latency gaming mode, wireless access to every streaming service or outdoor operation in damp conditions. Those requirements are not established by the D1 Pro’s published specifications.
Bottom line
The Aurzen EAZZE D1 Pro is best understood as a modest-brightness, native-1080p smart projector rather than a 4K replacement for a television. Its value rests on the combination of Full HD resolution, built-in core streaming apps, integrated 20 W stereo audio and flexible placement in a compact 4.4-pound body. Make a dark room, careful perpendicular setup and your streaming-service requirements part of the buying decision, and verify current price and warranty terms for your region before checkout.
