These are requirements, not benchmark results. Meeting the listed CPU and GPU models means your system matches the published minimum on paper; it does not establish a particular frame rate, image quality, loading time, or network result. Steam does not identify the memory configuration used for this listing, so there is no responsible RAM recommendation to add.
What Steam lists as recommended
The recommended section is unusually sparse. Steam lists a 64-bit processor and operating system plus 3,600 MB of available storage. It does not name a recommended processor, graphics card, memory amount, display resolution, graphics preset, or frame-rate objective.
That omission makes it impossible to create a truthful “minimum versus recommended” performance table. Do not treat the minimum CPU or GPU as a recommended target, and do not infer a 1080p, 60-frame-per-second, or higher-refresh-rate result from the existence of a recommended heading.
Can your PC run Avatar Legends?
Check the processor and graphics card first, then confirm the operating-system and storage conditions. A computer that falls below one of the named minimum parts is outside the game’s documented support floor, while a computer that meets them still needs to be tested because the listing contains no benchmark guarantee.

1. Identify your Windows edition and architecture
Open Windows’ system information and verify that the operating system and processor are 64-bit. The Steam listing names Windows 7 (64-bit) as the game minimum. A 32-bit installation does not satisfy that requirement even if the processor itself is capable of 64-bit operation.
2. Read the exact CPU model
Compare the model shown by Windows with “Intel Core i5-7500” or “AMD Ryzen 2600.” These are the two CPU examples Steam publishes. A different model cannot be classified from the listing alone without a separate, reliable performance comparison, so avoid assuming that a newer-sounding name automatically delivers the same result.
3. Read the exact GPU model
Check the dedicated graphics adapter in Windows or the graphics driver utility and compare it with “GTX 970” or “RX 570.” Integrated graphics are not identified as acceptable by the published requirements. If a laptop reports both integrated and discrete adapters, determine which adapter the game is using before drawing a conclusion.
4. Confirm DirectX 11 capability
The minimum lists DirectX Version 11. Windows’ diagnostic information can show the installed DirectX version and display adapter details. The version entry is a compatibility condition, not an indication of the game’s expected frame rate.

5. Reserve the required storage
Leave at least 3,600 MB of available space on the installation drive. That is the figure Steam publishes for both its minimum storage requirement and its recommended listing. In practice, allow additional room for the Steam installation process and future updates rather than filling the drive to the exact minimum.
Windows 7 wording versus Steam client support
Two separate statements appear in the Steam information and should not be merged. The game listing says Windows 7 (64-bit) is the minimum operating system. Steam also notes that its client supports Windows 10 and later from January 1, 2024.
The client note is not presented as a revised game requirement. It means the storefront application itself has a newer support policy, while the game’s specification remains written as Windows 7 (64-bit). A Windows 7 machine may therefore satisfy the text of the game listing but still face a Steam-client compatibility issue. Check the current Steam client policy and your account’s ability to install and launch the game before relying on the older operating-system entry.

The official product page reviewed for this title does not document a list of PC graphics settings and does not publish benchmark measurements. There is no supported basis for naming a preset, recommending a specific resolution, promising a frame-rate range, or declaring that one particular CPU or GPU upgrade is necessary.

When you launch the game, use the options actually exposed by your installed version. If the game offers adjustable display or rendering controls, change one setting at a time, record the result in a repeatable training or local match, and restore the previous value if the change introduces instability. This method helps you separate a rendering change from a network or matchmaking issue without pretending that an undocumented preset is official guidance.
Keep local rendering separate from online play
Rollback netcode can make online matches more responsive by correcting game-state differences, but it cannot turn hardware below the published minimum into supported hardware. Conversely, a computer that renders locally without trouble can still experience an online problem caused by connection quality or a remote player. Judge graphics performance in a local or training situation and connection quality during an online match; do not use one as proof of the other.

If the game will not start
- Recheck that Windows and the processor are 64-bit.
- Compare the installed CPU and GPU models with the two pairs listed by Steam.
- Confirm that DirectX 11 is available and that the display adapter is detected correctly.
- Check that the installation drive has more than 3,600 MB free.
- Verify that the Steam client itself is supported by your Windows version, especially on Windows 7.
These checks identify documented compatibility mismatches. They do not prove that a system meeting the minimum will achieve a particular performance level.

If play is visually slow
Because no official benchmark or settings matrix is published, first establish whether the symptom occurs in a local match. Note the exact display mode and any options available in your build, then make a single controlled change and test again. Also observe current graphics-driver behavior, since a driver problem can look like a game setting problem. Do not assume that lowering an undocumented option will produce a known frame rate.

If only online matches are affected
Test a local match separately. If local rendering is stable but online play is not, the symptom does not demonstrate that the PC fails the graphics requirement. Rollback netcode and cross-play make connection conditions part of the online experience, and the published PC requirements contain no network-speed or latency target.
Updates that may affect your experience
October 7, 2026: Open Lobbies and spectating
An official announcement dated October 7, 2026 introduced Open Lobbies and spectating. The same announcement described story-difficulty changes and gameplay adjustments. It did not state that the PC CPU, GPU, operating-system, DirectX, storage, or graphics-setting requirements changed.
July 29: keyboard remapping
An earlier official announcement dated July 29 added keyboard control remapping. That is a control feature update, not a published hardware revision. The available announcement information does not say that it altered minimum specifications or added a performance target.

The documented information supports only a compatibility check against the listed CPU and GPU alternatives, 64-bit Windows, DirectX 11, and available storage. It does not establish an upgrade order, a target graphics card, a useful RAM amount, or the performance gain from replacing one component.
If your computer is below the minimum, identify which published condition it misses and consult the game’s current store information before purchasing hardware.
