सेटअप के लिए क्या चाहिए
- ऐसा YouTube channel जिस पर लाइव स्ट्रीमिंग की सुविधा उपलब्ध हो। पहली बार लाइव सुविधा चालू होने में 24 घंटे तक लग सकते हैं।
- चलता हुआ Azure VM, जिस पर आपका चुना हुआ media player और encoder चल सके। VM का आकार या region यहाँ तय नहीं किया जा सकता; चुनाव आपके media, encoder और उपलब्ध संसाधनों पर निर्भर है।
- भजन की ऐसी audio/video files या media source जिसे player पढ़ सके, और player में playlist को दोहराने का विकल्प।
- स्थिर outbound upload connection, YouTube Live ingest URL और stream key।
- आपके Linux distribution, player और encoder के लिए उनकी आधिकारिक स्थापना तथा playlist documentation। यहां किसी खास software या OS के लिए tested command उपलब्ध नहीं है, इसलिए उसे अनुमान से चलाने के बजाय संबंधित vendor की guide से मिलाएँ।
YouTube Live stream तैयार करें
- YouTube channel की live-stream eligibility जाँचें। Channel verified होना चाहिए और पिछले 90 दिनों में उस पर live-stream restriction नहीं होनी चाहिए। पहली बार live streaming enable करने में 24 घंटे तक लग सकते हैं।
- YouTube Live Control Room में encoder आधारित stream तैयार करें। Encoder mode streaming software जैसे production setup के लिए है।
- Live Control Room से stream URL और stream key लें। Encoder के server/URL और stream key fields में इन्हें डालें। YouTube key को password जैसी संवेदनशील जानकारी मानता है; इसे सार्वजनिक न करें या logs/screenshots में उजागर न होने दें।
- भजन playlist और encoder शुरू करें, फिर Live Control Room में preview आने की प्रतीक्षा करें। Audio, video और stream health जाँचने के बाद ही Go Live करें।
भजन playlist को लगातार दोहराएँ
Playlist की files या source ऐसी जगह रखें जहाँ VM पर चलने वाला player पढ़ सके। Player में playlist का क्रम तय करें और repeat/loop व्यवहार चालू करें। फिर player के output को encoder के input से जोड़ें, ताकि encoder वही audio/video YouTube ingest पर भेजे। Playlist का सटीक UI, command, file format समर्थन और restart व्यवहार चुने हुए player के अनुसार बदलता है; YouTube की encoder guidance किसी खास playlist player की विधि नहीं बताती।
इसलिए पहले चुने हुए player की आधिकारिक documentation में तीन बातें सत्यापित करें: playlist कैसे बनाई जाती है, पूरी सूची समाप्त होने पर loop कैसे किया जाता है, और VM या process restart के बाद playback कैसे बहाल होता है। छोटी playlist से परीक्षण करें और सुनिश्चित करें कि आखिरी item के बाद playback शुरू से चलता है तथा बीच में encoder को खाली input नहीं मिलता। किसी खास Linux सेवा या Restart=always जैसी setting को बिना अपने distribution और process की पुष्टि के लागू न करें।
Encoder और upload settings चुनें
- Ingest: YouTube RTMP और RTMPS दोनों बताता है और encrypted connection के लिए RTMPS की सिफारिश करता है। यदि encoder और stream configuration RTMPS देते हैं, तो वही चुनें।
- Video codec और bitrate: YouTube की प्रकाशित encoder table में 720p, 30 fps के लिए video bitrate 2 Mbps दिया गया है। यह एक प्रकाशित setting है, आपके VM, network या हर stream की गुणवत्ता की गारंटी नहीं। दूसरे resolution और frame rate के लिए YouTube की पूरी bitrate table देखें; अनुमान से इस आंकड़े को सभी formats पर लागू न करें।
- Rate control और keyframes: YouTube की encoder guidance CBR तथा H.264, H.265 और AV1 जैसे विकल्पों का उल्लेख करती है। Keyframe frequency सामान्यतः 2 सेकंड रखें और YouTube की guidance के अनुसार 4 सेकंड से अधिक न होने दें। आपके encoder में उपलब्ध विकल्प और YouTube ingest के साथ उनका समर्थन जाँचें।
- Upload headroom: YouTube कुल stream bitrate के ऊपर लगभग 20% अतिरिक्त upload bandwidth रखने की सलाह देता है। VM की उपलब्ध outbound क्षमता के मुकाबले video और audio bitrate जोड़कर देखें; यह headroom network की स्थिरता की गारंटी नहीं है।
24/7 संचालन और निगरानी
पहले encoder को चलाएँ और Live Control Room में preview तथा stream health की जाँच करें। YouTube लगातार stream health देखने और event खत्म होने पर encoder रोकने की सलाह देता है। 24/7 playlist में event का संचालन अलग हो सकता है, इसलिए अपने Live Control Room workflow को समझें और यह सत्यापित करें कि stream बिना अनचाहे रुकने के जारी रहती है। YouTube के अनुसार 12 घंटे से कम अवधि वाली streams अपने-आप archive होती हैं; इससे लंबे 24/7 प्रसारण का स्वतः archive होना सुनिश्चित नहीं होता।

Azure VM monitoring और diagnostics सक्षम रखें तथा downtime की तैयारी करें। एक single VM, उसके host, VM के भीतर encoder process और network—इनमें से किसी की विफलता stream रोक सकती है। अधिक availability के लिए Azure क्षेत्र/zone आधारित architecture जैसे उपाय संभव हैं, लेकिन छोटे creator setup में उनका खर्च और लाभ आपके uptime लक्ष्य पर निर्भर होगा; कोई सार्वभौमिक VM आकार या उच्च-availability configuration यहां प्रमाणित नहीं है।

Azure खर्च और प्रसारण बंद होने का असर
Azure में VM को Stopped स्थिति में रोकने पर भी, यदि वह allocated है, compute billing जारी रहती है। VM को deallocate करने पर compute charges रुकते हैं, लेकिन attached disks और अन्य संसाधनों की लागत जारी रह सकती है। Deallocate करने पर VM पर चल रहा 24/7 प्रसारण भी बंद होगा।
