What Badlion’s Fairy Souls Waypoints feature does
Badlion described Fairy Souls Waypoints as a SkyBlock feature that places an on-screen waypoint at each covered fairy soul. The intended use is straightforward: instead of remembering locations or following a separate checklist, you can travel through an island and use the in-game markers to find the collectibles.

The original feature announcement, published with Badlion Client 3.4 on September 16, 2021, says the markers cover fairy souls throughout the game. Its explicit exception is important: fairy souls inside dungeon rooms are not included in this waypoint feature.

That means “all fairy souls” should not be read as “every fairy soul in every location.” The documented scope is the regular fairy-soul locations covered by the feature, with dungeon-room souls excluded.

What happens after you collect one
Badlion’s announcement says, “The moment you click the fairy soul it will disappear from your view.” In practical terms, the waypoint is designed to act as an outstanding-task marker. Once you interact with the soul, its marker should no longer clutter your screen.
The same announcement says progress is associated with your Badlion account and mod profile. That is different from a marker that merely disappears for the current session: the documented design ties the collected state to those account and profile settings. If you change profiles or sign into another account, do not assume the same completion state will carry over unless the client shows it.
Are dungeon-room fairy souls included?
No—not in the Fairy Souls Waypoints feature as described in Client 3.4. The announcement specifically excludes souls inside dungeon rooms.
Badlion separately described its Dungeon Secret Guide as highlighting fairy souls as one type of dungeon secret. Those are two different functions:
- Fairy Souls Waypoints: markers for the covered fairy-soul locations, excluding dungeon rooms.
- Dungeon Secret Guide: dungeon-oriented guidance that can identify fairy souls among dungeon secrets.
Seeing fairy souls mentioned in dungeon-related documentation therefore does not mean that the general Fairy Souls Waypoints toggle supplies markers inside every dungeon room. A player looking specifically for dungeon-room souls should treat the dungeon guide and the fairy-soul waypoint feature as separate systems.
How the documented controls work
The announcement describes two ways to remove markers in bulk. You can clear them through the mod menu, or use a configured keybind. The wording indicates that this operation removes all Fairy Souls Waypoints on the current island, rather than only the marker you are looking at.
Hide one collected marker
- Travel to a marked fairy soul.
- Click or otherwise collect the fairy soul in the normal SkyBlock interaction.
- Confirm that its waypoint disappears from your view, as described in the Client 3.4 announcement.
The announcement does not provide a separate confirmation dialog, a required keyboard key, or a current menu path. Those details can vary with client versions and personal keybinds, so use the labels shown in your installed Badlion client rather than relying on a key listed by a third party.

- Open Badlion’s mod menu and locate the Fairy Souls Waypoints controls, or use the keybind you configured for clearing the markers.
- Choose the clear-all action.
- Expect the action to remove all waypoints on the current island, according to the original announcement.
A clear-all command is not the same as collecting the souls. It removes the visible markers for that island; it should not be treated as proof that the underlying fairy souls have been collected. If you need a completion record, rely on the account and mod-profile state described by Badlion, not on whether markers are currently visible.

What changed in later Badlion updates?
Badlion’s Client 4.1 announcement, published February 8, 2024, documents later work on waypoint routes. It describes routes as groups of waypoints that can be regular or ordered, supporting travel through a planned sequence instead of treating every marker as an unrelated destination.
The same update notes that a new fairy soul was added and that coordinates for a new soul were corrected. This is useful evidence that Badlion continued updating waypoint and SkyBlock data after the 2021 feature announcement. It does not, by itself, prove that the original Fairy Souls Waypoints toggle remains enabled or unchanged in every current client build.

How to check your own installation without assuming old behavior
Because the strongest feature description is historical, the safest current answer is conditional: Badlion has documented the feature, but you should verify its presence in the client version you actually use.

- Open the installed Badlion mod menu. Search the available SkyBlock or waypoint-related entries for a Fairy Souls Waypoints option.
- Check whether the control exposes marker and clearing settings. The historically documented behavior includes individual disappearance after collection and a clear-all action for the current island.
- Review keybinds. If your build supports clearing through a keybind, confirm which key is assigned rather than assuming a default.
- Test in a non-critical location. Visit a known, uncollected regular-island fairy soul and see whether a marker appears. Do not use a dungeon-room soul as the test, because that location type was excluded in the original announcement.
- Collect the test soul. Its marker should disappear if the feature behaves as documented.
- Change islands and inspect the result. The clear operation is described as applying to the current island, so check the island-specific behavior before clearing a large set of markers.
If no Fairy Souls Waypoints entry appears, that absence is evidence about your installed release or profile, not proof that Badlion never offered the feature. Client menus can change, features can be retired, and profiles can have different mod settings.

Common points of confusion
“The marker disappeared, so the soul must be permanently recorded.”
For a collected soul, disappearance is the behavior Badlion documented. For a manual clear-all action, disappearance only means the visible markers were removed on the current island. Keep those two actions conceptually separate.
“Dungeon Secret Guide lists fairy souls, so Fairy Souls Waypoints must mark dungeon rooms.”
The dungeon guide and the fairy-soul waypoint feature have different scopes. The former can identify fairy souls as dungeon secrets; the latter was explicitly described as excluding souls inside dungeon rooms.
“The 2024 waypoint-route notes guarantee the feature is still available.”
The later notes demonstrate continued waypoint-related development and fairy-soul coordinate maintenance. They do not expressly promise that the original toggle remains in every live version. Treat current availability as something to confirm in the client.
“A wiki link proves the current mod list.”
The client-mod wiki points to updated support material, but the referenced link redirected to Lunar Client support when checked. That redirect means the wiki path is not sufficient independent confirmation of Badlion’s present feature list.
What you can and cannot conclude
The historical record supports a clear answer to the literal question: Badlion did have an officially announced Fairy Souls Waypoints feature. It was intended to mark fairy souls across SkyBlock, hide a marker when the soul was clicked, and offer a way to clear all markers on the current island. The feature’s documented data model connected progress with the Badlion account and mod profile.
The record also supplies a firm limitation: dungeon-room souls were outside the scope of those waypoints. Dungeon-related fairy-soul references belong to the separate Dungeon Secret Guide, not to the general waypoint coverage.
What remains unverified is the exact state of the latest live client. Badlion’s February 2024 Client 4.1 notes mention waypoint routes, a new fairy soul, and corrected coordinates, but they do not explicitly state that the original Fairy Souls Waypoints setting is still present in every release. The wiki’s attempted pointer to updated support information did not provide an independent current feature list.
Practical answer for a SkyBlock player
- If you are using a Badlion build that exposes Fairy Souls Waypoints, use it for regular-island fairy souls and expect dungeon-room souls to be excluded.
- Collecting a soul should remove its marker; a menu or configured keybind can clear all visible markers for the current island.
- Do not use the disappearance of markers after a bulk clear as a substitute for a collection record.
- Check the mod menu and keybind screen in your installed version before planning a route around the feature.
- If you need dungeon-room locations, look for the separate dungeon-secret functionality rather than assuming the general fairy-soul marker set covers them.
The Bottom Line
Badlion officially announced Fairy Souls Waypoints in Client 3.4, with markers for fairy souls except those inside dungeon rooms.
