At Rosymorn Monastery, place a mace on Dawnmaster Stockhold’s table, a warhammer on Dawnmaster Seed’s, and a battleaxe on Dawnmaster Vaseid’s. Welkinglory’s longsword is already in place. The puzzle opens a concealed compartment with the Dawnmaster’s Crest. Take the Crest to the Blood of Lathander altar and insert it before taking the mace to retrieve the relic safely.
Where to find the Dawnmaster’s Crest
The Crest is hidden in a pouch behind a secret wall section in the stained-glass room at Rosymorn Monastery. Look for the room with the stained-glass floor and four weapon tables, each associated with a Dawnmaster. The puzzle’s weapon placements open the compartment containing the Crest and a note. Solve the stained-glass weapon puzzle
- Reach the upper part of Rosymorn Monastery and enter the chamber with the stained-glass floor and weapon tables.
- Bring a mace, a warhammer, and a battleaxe. Ceremonial versions can be found in the monastery, but the walkthrough says other weapons of those types also work.
- Place the mace on Dawnmaster Stockhold’s table, the warhammer on Dawnmaster Seed’s table, and the battleaxe on Dawnmaster Vaseid’s table. Dawnmaster Welkinglory’s longsword is already on its table.
- When the weapons are correctly placed, a secret wall section opens. Take the pouch inside to collect the Dawnmaster’s Crest.

Alternative: reveal and unlock the hidden compartment
If you do not want to arrange the weapons, a passive DC 10 Perception check can reveal the hidden Crest chamber. A DC 30 Sleight of Hand check can then unlock it. This bypass skips the puzzle and does not award Morninglord’s Radiance, according to the walkthrough. Source: IGN walkthrough

Destroying the machines preserves the crèche; if you do not, the blast destroys it.
